Conflicted (Luna)

Luna had remembered the many times he apologized or begged her to forgive him, each time she just turned her back and looked the other way. She knew if she had at least listened or finally given him a chance to explain himself, perhaps things wouldn't be as bad as they were, they probably still wouldn't be together, but at least there wouldn't be any anger aroma surrounding their every encounter. Luna sighed staring out the window again, watching as the people went pass and on with their lives. She wondered if any of them faced the same dilemma as she did. Who was she kidding, of course there was other people out there with love troubles, it was a common problem among everyone, relationships and tending to them, people and fighting, secrets and unsaid words that they wished they could of said but now that they didn't they regret not doing it. Luna regretted a few things, but she wouldn't dwell on them, the best thing about making mistakes was learning from them and somehow even preparing to not make the same mistake twice or fix the one that has already been made. She only wished she knew how, she was confused between what she wanted, what was right, and what she deserved. None of them were on the same page, each things was different, what she wanted wasn't right or what she deserved, at least at the moment they didn't all fit.

She only smiled when he teased her as he usually did. He was joking about her music only being as half as good as his, actually she believed that to be true even if he claimed to be joking. She didn't want to ever compare herself to his magnificent talent for writing music, she felt completely humbled next to him and his gift. She crossed her fingers with each other as she listened to him talk, suddenly an small apology escaping from his mouth, it was like the rest, not as dramatic as before, but still the same apology that he'd stated since the last time it was said. She looked down at her hands and smiled for some reason this apology felt a little different than the rest, as if he was apologizing for more than just what he did but for the time they spent just avoiding each other and the hated tension that has build up with the distance. She was happy that he apologized and unlike all the other times she wasn't going to just turn her head and look the other way, in ways that was much childish of her to have done, she should have faced him with her two eyes, perhaps she didn't know how to face him then but now she had gotten a little stronger and able to handle much more. "It's fine, that was a while ago...lets just forget about it." Luna simply said, it wasn't a straight out blunt 'i forgive you' ordeal but it was her way of saying that she did and didn't really want to go down that road of pain and hate again, she was hoping they could just at least be friends, if her heart could manage that much.

"Sure the nice songs, I wouldn't be able to sing the other ones anyhow..." which was true, she couldn't sing the really sad or angry songs unless she put herself back into that mood of feeling lost and empty again, she didn't want to go back to being in such a state, in the very least she could remember happy memories instead of those that were heart breaking memories. She placed her coffee cup aside and slowly reached down for her guitar case. "I never really minded the rain, just I am wearing this and well if it get soaked...well yeah...it shows a bit more than I would want it too..." She was referring to her neko costume, it was already so tightly fitted that if it rained and she got soaked it would fit to each form of her body, including her breasts and yeah well you get the point, it wouldn't be something she wanted him to see, even if it wasn't something that he hadn't seen before, but they weren't dating now let alone that wasn't just something she would want to be seen at any time. She was thinking of changing out of this skimpy little thing, it was becoming strangely uncomfortable being around Topaz, she had her school uniform on handy, she would at least get out of the dress part and place on her school uniform but leaving on the cat ears and tail since she loved them so much.

She was glad he suggested that she could tag along while he needing to go to the music shop, she loved that place even if she had no particular reason to go there just going there was a good enough reason. "Sounds like fun, sure I will tag along...just first if you don't mind waiting I am going to to go to use the girl's restroom for a second, I will be right back." Luna claimed and she grabbed her school bag and rushed off before he could say anything. When she did return a few moments later she had on her black school uniform but still her cat ears and tail were connected as accessories, it felt much better and comfortable this way. She smiled walking back over to the table and grabbing her guitar as she placed it over her shoulder and to her backside. "Alright I am ready now..." she was going to avoid anything bad that could come out of this entire situation, one by getting rid of skimpy little clothes, that was never a good thing to wear around an ex. She headed toward the door and waited for him before going outside.

[Topaz Fontain]

Topaz has began to apologise for what had happened long ago, and also the way they had avoided each other at all costs until today. Well it was obvious why they had. Things between them was just angry, and awful. Whenever they seen each other. She got angry over what he had done. He got angry at the fact that she just wouldnt forgive him despite his explanations. When she just told them to forget about it and that it was fine, Topaz took that as forgiveness, even if he didnt deserve it. He needed it. He smiled a little at that, glad that she had finally forgiven him. Now he just had to forgive himself, which would of been the easier part.

She had said that she would eventually sing some of these songs within her band and then Topaz said cautiously that he hoped that she wasnt going to sing all the nasty ones about him. He smiled and sighed with relief, "Good. At least I dont need to worry about showing up at one of your gigs and then you sing one of the hateful songs." Topaz said with a smile. He would more likely end up walking out of the whole club knowing exactly what the song was about. That would just hurt, even if he was with a girl or not. He would leave.

When they had both finished the hot chocolate things were silent for just a few minutes. He was still reveling in the fact that he was forgiven. He was staring at the slowly getting more darker sky. He knew it was just going to pour it down pretty soon so they might as well get moving. He remembered a few times when they had been caught in the rain with one another, however it didnt hurry them up to get home. He enjoyed the rain. When she mentioned about her outfit getting shown he just laughed. That wouldnt be good considering his lifestyle now. Even if it was her, he was still a man, "No I dont think that would be a good idea." Topaz said even if he loved her in her neko outfit as it made her unique, it would be a good idea for the both of them if she changed.

Topaz had eventually stood up stating that he needed to go to the music shop and get some guitar strings. He had hoped she wouldnt refuse, how could she? The music shop was one of the best places that they could go to. They both enjoyed music. He might also look at guitars while he was there. His was getting to old for him now. He had it for many years already and had been in the wars. Well he would have a look at prices while he was there as well. Also look around just randomly. He could spend ages in that shop and not get bored, "Thats fine. I'll be here." Topaz said smiling and sat back down to wait while she went to the girls bathroom. Tapping his fingers on the table making a little rhythum out of it humming one of the newer songs he had started to work on. He had stopped just as she came back and smiled. up at her now in her school uniform. He gave her a mocking pout, "Aww. I liked that outfit..." He teased and then stood up as she picked up her guitar slinging it over her shoulder. He got up and smiled toward her holding the door open for her, "Lets go..." He said starting to walk towards in the direction music shop.

Luna walked into the music shop once they reached the place. There was a soft bell that sounded when the door opened that just made sure to alert the store clerk that someone was walking in. The girl behind the desk smiled and called out welcome, she had seen Luna in here many times before and perhaps even Topaz, Luna wondered if he even tried flirting with the young girl before in the past, it wouldn't come as a surprise if he had. Luna rolled her eyes at the thought of it, it was too painful to even consider that he was always having his eyes on other 'pretty' girls to boost up his ego. Luna wasn't one that would be really considered an 'eye catcher' she was just a 'plain' girl, the type of girl you would call 'the girl next door'. She was nothing special, she didn't have any extremely gorgeous attributes like some of the girls that Topaz hung around, she was just a fairly nice girl. She kept her hair short, some usually say it's the hair about a girl that makes them even more beautiful, well her hair was short and she liked it being styled that way, perhaps that was another reason why guys or just people in general over looked her. But the one thing she made it impossible for them to overlook was her sense of style, that was how Luna stood out from the rest, she was weird with how she chose to dress. But Luna wasn't doing it so she would stand out for something but she was doing it because it was who she was a person. She was crazy, fun, and outgoing, she loved to do things that were out of the ordinary, unlike some girls who are too busy worrying about whether they can fit into some bathing suit for the summer or have the right make up, Luna is off worrying about the things she is missing out in life, such as experiencing new things she hadn't quite experienced yet.

Luna was definitely one of a kind, one that some easily over look, but once you do give such a girl a chance she will usually keep you off your toes with her randomness. Luna looked over to Topaz his eyes seemed to be wandering off toward what he was looking for, she just walked away and went to go look at some other things while he did what he needed to do. She walked over to the CD section, scanning through the ones of the artists she loved the mosts and then just at random ones. There was an area where she could pop in the CD to listen to it's tracks just to see if she actually wanted to buy it or not. It was a useful thing to use. Luna looked over to Topaz he seemed to be busy with whatever it was that he was doing, she smiled lightly before looking away again. She couldn't help but keep glancing at his direction, he was perfect just like that last time she had seen him. His funny red hair falling over his eyes occasionally, it was hair the most that stood out about him. Luna was always one to like people who stood out differently than others, it was with his hair that he stood out the most next to just being the biggest flirtatious guy she came across. He had his charms to pull her in, but she fall for him just because of how adorable he was but because he let her in to see his nice soft personality that he hid behind his gorgeous smile. Luna mentally slapped herself, why was she thinking about his smile? She needed to concentrate, it wasn't good for her to start daydreaming again, she didn't even need to be thinking about him as such. He was just going to be a friend now, even if that pained her to say the word 'friends'. They were friends before they dated, it made some sense for them to try and be friends again.

Suddenly the door opened again and someone came into the shop. Luna hadn't seen or noticed who it was, until she turned around to see. The girl looked younger than Luna, but it was obvious she was from the same academy since she happened to be wearing her uniform. She skipped into the shop along with another friend of hers who also appeared to be ditsy. The girl flipped her long dirty blond hair over her shoulder and she licked her lips as if she found something that she wanted to eat. Luna arched an eyebrow at the girl, she hadn't seen her before but for some reason she was sure she had. It became clear as the girl walked over to where Topaz was standing and groped him from behind. She giggled her little ditsy giggle and looked over her shoulder blowing a kiss at Luna, Luna stepped back from the CD case, it was obvious there was a hurt expression on her face. It seemed the girl purposely was toying with her, they hadn't even met yet most people around the school did know Luna to be Topaz's ex, so perhaps this girl knew who she was and wanted to make it known that she did. Luna looked away turning to face was standing behind her which happened to be another layout of cds, she pretended to be interested in them and not in what was happening right behind her back. She turned her head towards the door and the friend of the other girl happened to be standing there with her arms cross, Luna assumed the girl was also jealous yet in a different way then Luna was. The brown haired girl standing at the door turned to look at Luna and grinned and evil grin along with an evil glare. Luna sighed "What did I do to you to make you want to give me such a nasty look..." was all Luna said before she heard a loud giggle and snapped her head around to see it was that dirty blond haired chick. Luna groaned, she needed to get out of here.

[Topaz Fontain]

Topaz stepped into the music shop and greeted the shop clerk. Yes they had seen each other once or twice but she now had a boyfriend. So they were strictly on friend terms. It was easy enough for Topaz. He had plenty of girls, a loss of one wasnt major. He stepped into the asile of the shop with guitar strings. Looking through them for the ones he needed. He took a few packets off the shelf. Swinging them around in his hand he quickly looked around the store for Luna. Spotting her looking at CD's he smiled. The music shop was where they were both in their element as they always enjoyed it. Walking to the back of the shop he began to look at actual guitars, see what prices they had going for a few. His current one he had for years, it done his purpose. He felt like he wanted a new one.

Standing and a few times flicking his gaze back to Luna all the time. He still felt completely awful. He wasnt anywhere near over her yet at all. Everyday he just woke up with the familiar thoughts that he would be seeing her later. Sure enough he would, but she wouldnt be with him. She would be walking in between classes, alone. Lunch break with her friends not him. Just the small things that he missed the most, but ultimately he missed her. He stared at a guitar with all these thoughts. He didnt know what he had to do, to get her back. He wanted her back though, even though he didnt deserve her. He still wanted her, needed her. He sighed with these rather depressing thoughts just as someone groped him from behind. It wouldnt be the clerk, and no one else was in the store as far as he knew. Thinking it was Luna playing a joke on him he turned around, "Lu, verging on very-" He began and cut himself off turning around to see a girl with dirty blonde hair and his face became annoyed, recognisising her immediately, "Hey Char!" He said with a fake smile and hugged her quickly, pretending to be overjoyed by her appearance. He hadnt seen her in a while, truth was he never wanted to again. He made it clear he wasnt looking for commitment at all, she just kept on getting more and more possesive over him. Looking around for an escape route. He met Luna's eyes breifly and then felt a stab of pain. If she had any left over feelings for him at all, this girl just being here must be hurting her. Glancing up to the door way there was her best friend guarding the exit like a guard dog, "How have you been?" He asked as neutral as he could sound. He was listening to her rabbit on and on about herself for about five minutes before he cut her off making her way over to the counter to pay for his strings, "Luna! You ready to go?" Topaz said cutting her off and replacing his fake smile with a serious help me look. He noticed the nasty look that they were giving her. If he didnt have a policy against hitting girls he really would of punched them both.

Luna turned away from the brown haired chick, she wasn't responding to what she had asked her and it looked like the girl really just wanted to pick a fight. Something Luna wouldn't be up for doing anyhow. She wasn't one to result to silly violence, ever. She looked over to Topaz and the girl again, she could see that Topaz was forcing himself to be actually interested in the girl. In any case it still didn't mattered to Luna, she was still not comfortable seeing him with someone else, she was still hurt by it. Grabbing the cd that she wanted she turned her back from the both of them and headed toward the counter. But just as soon as she headed that direction Topaz was getting away from the girl that had him cornered and made his way to the counter calling after Luna to see if she was ready to get out of here. She was, she wanted to get out of here, but now she didn't think going anywhere with him was a good idea. Who knows what crazy girl of his they would run into this time. Luna didn't want to deal with it, she couldn't handle it emotionally and it was just not something she wanted to face, she just allowed herself to have him back in her life again, already she was in a load of pain from it.

Luna grabbed what she wanted and placed it on the counter. She didn't let Topaz pay for any of it, she paid it with her own cash and grabbed her sack. Turning around she saw both of the girls standing there blocking her way. Topaz was standing next to her, she wondered whether they were after him or her, or both? Luna sighed looking over at Topaz with hurt eyes but she didn't try to make it obvious that she was annoyed by this. Instead without saying a word she pushed past the two girls and heard them yell and call after her but she only ignored them making her way out the front doors and outside. It was pouring rain outside all of the sudden. it was just as if the heavens knew she was in pain and was in the need of a cleansing or something to relax her and put her at ease. Tears came flowing down from her eyes and down her cheeks her vision becoming a bit blurred. She could see the shapes and colors of car lights and people walking. Leaning up against the brick walls of the shop she closed her eyes and stayed where she was not wanting to step out from under the protection of the building to get wet. She heard the shop doors opened soon afterwards and she wasn't sure whether or not if it was Topaz or those girls or even both for that matter. She quickly made sure to wipe away her tears so neither of them could see it and she placed a small smile on her face when she saw it was Topaz after all.

Her hair was a little wet, she wasn't completely out of the rain and it was sprinkling down onto her off of the roof's edge. She tried to keep back her tears from before, she didn't like crying in front of anyone especially Topaz. She didn't want him to ever see her cry, he had before but that was a long time ago. She took a step out from under the roof and the rain started pouring heaving onto her making her easily get soaked. She laughed and twirled around in the rain hanging onto her bags. "I love this weather..." She shouted over the noises of other people outside rambling. Everyone seemed to be carrying their umbrellas, well most people, and Luna wasn't one, she didn't mind the rain but without a doubt she knew she would be catching a nasty cold from this. It would be best if the both of them got out of the rain.

[Topaz Fontain]

Topaz noticed that Luna had left the shop before him. Charlotte was persistant with him however he always refused. Purchasing his spare guitar strings he handed over the money. He was going to offer to pay for Luna's CD however she had already paid for it before he got the chance to. Charlotte however was hanging off his arm refusing to let go. She was constantly rambling on and on about herself and the brown girl decided to join in as well before Topaz just snapped, "Enough Charlotte. No I dont call you because I binned your number. I dont ever want to see you again, and blonde hair makes you look like a whore. Excuse me girls." Topaz said nastily and stepping over to the door, "Also. Yes. That shirt makes you look fat..." Topaz said leaving the other girl in tears. She wouldnt of stopped if he hadnt of told her straight that he didnt like her and that she should move on. Stepping out of the shop he realised that it had begun raining... heavily.

Turning around to face Luna he caught her wiping her eyes and he sighed. Just seeing her cry made his heart ache, that wasnt funny at all, "Sorry about them girls. She doesnt know when to quit..." Topaz said thinking it was the girls treating her horribly that had upset her, "You ok..." Topaz asked looking back inside at the tearful girl. He didnt feel bad for what he said. Sometimes to get a girl off your back you had to be cruel. He then looked out onto the very wet weather and gazed up at the sky remembering when they had been caught outside in weather like this. It had been a fun day.

He looked at her as she stepped out into the rain he just laughed a little when she twirled around screaming that she loved this weather. Topaz just gave her a smile still standing under the shelter. Soon he stepped out getting drenched almost immediately his white shirt turning see through within moments. It began clinging to him like second skin and he stood right in front of her, "I remember..." He said simply. Obviously he remembered her loving the rain, but he also remembered the day quite clearly as well, "You?" He asked wondering if she remembered to.

Luna had remembered the many times when she was younger and she would run around in the rain. Of course her grandmother would always yell at her and tell her to get back inside, that the silly girl was going to catch herself a cold. But her mother and father only laughed. Her older brother Cameron usually always joined her outside in the rain, but sometimes he thought of it as a bad idea not wanting to get his hair all in a mess and such, since when did he become overly obsessed with things such as his appearance, who knows. Luna found it funny actually, he was being sort of like a girl, spending so much time on his hair, he wasn't gay just obsessed with looking good for the ladies thats all. Funny how he found it okay for him to be huge on dating and playing around with the opposite sex but when it came to his little sis he didn't want her anywhere around boys, he was being completely unfair. She was glad when he went off to college, that gave her some space to herself, but of course she missed him and enjoyed the visits they had with each other. They also often talked online and on the phone when he wasn't busy with exams, lately he hadn't called or emailed at all. Luna left him a few messages on his phone, but he still hadn't gotten back to her, she assume he must be busy cramming studies. She could understand that.

Luna looked to Topaz as he apologized for the way those girls acted before in the shop. Was he really that blind, did he really think that she was crying and being upset over those to sluts, she could care less about them and what they had said to her, she was upset with the idea of him being with other girls, girls like them, nasty and not worth a dime. Luna was disgusted, that was why she was upset, not because they had foul mouths. "Yeah I am fine..." Luna had replied just before she went twirling around in the rain feeling it fall down onto her skin. She closed her eyes being soaked in it. She hadn't noticed at first the Topaz came out from under the shade to get soaked as well, it wasn't until she opened her eyes to see him, but that wasn't all she saw.She gulped her eyes almost ready to jump out of her skull. Why on earth did he purposely try to ruin her, he just had to be wearing a white shirt and it just had to be raining and it just had to be perfectly tight enough to stick to him and reveal the gorgeous body he had hidden underneath. Right away the hugest rush of red flowed to Luna's cheeks and she was blushing like crazy and it wasn't something she could hide, she was turning red all over her face. She couldn't stop looking either, her eyes feeding off of his perfect abs and how he looked so entirely delicious or sexy being soaked. His shirt was way too tight, he did that on purpose didn't he. Luna narrowed her eyes and mumbled something under her breath about him being such a horrid tease and how she hated that she fell for it each time.

Trying her best to rest her eyes back with his again she looked up at him hearing him say something but it was a little unclear since she had been so distracted by looking elsewhere. His hair was wet too, now clinging around his face and slicked over his eyes, she was sure she was just about to scream, how come she still found him attractive, especially at a time like this! "Ehhhhhhh!!!! Wha...? Oh....um.....yeah....of course..." Luna replied her voice a bit whiny and without doubt her eyes traveled away from his eyes again and down to his abdomen. Closing her eyes Luna took in a deep breath and tried to laugh it off. She rubbed the back of her head with her hand and replied nervously "It was when we were still dating, ha ha ha I used to be so obsessed with you..." Luna couldn't believe that just slipped out of her mouth. She felt like someone just choked her and kept squeezing and squeezing until she couldn't breath and just said the slightest thing that came to mind, something embarrassing. She couldn't take it back either, she never told him that, but she was sure he knew that when they were dating, she had been a bit clingy with him as well. Yet she still let him have his space, but when they were around each other....well sometime they didn't talk much, they were busy doing other things. Luna mentally slapped herself, it was his fault though, he brought up the memory of the last time they were trapped in the rain. Curse him! She mentally kept beating herself up for letting such a thing slip out. Why was she so stupid sometimes?

[Topaz Fontain]

He had thought to begin with it was her being with the girls that made her upset. However him being him thought there couldnt possibly be anyway she could still love him so he decided not to beileve it. Saying that he was sorry for the way the girls treated her back in the shop. He knew it was news across the school that he was free and single. It was why he got so popular with the girls when this entire manwhore life started. Most however were looking for commitment but after Luna, he refused it completely. Could it be the fact he was still clinging to the hope that she would take him back? Maybe. He sighed. He knew he was torturing himself but what else could he do? Snapping him from his thoughts Luna was already standing out in the rain running around in it. That caused him to smile at how happy she looked. He stepped out into the rain to join her before realising that he was wearing a white shirt which caused it to go see through. Shit... He cursed in his head but there was nothing he could do about it. Looking up at Luna he noticed her cheeks starting to burn bright red and that she was staring, "Its nothing you havent seen before. Want me to take it off? It wont make much of a difference.." He flirted. Of course he was only joking but he really couldnt help himself at that point. He knew it really wasnt an appropriate time but it was just him now. He just enjoyed teasing girls and that certainly didnt exclude Luna.

He looked down the road at how the rain was pounding the crowd bouncing up from it in a small sprinkle and then resting on the ground again. Amazingly he didnt mind his hair being completely ruined either. She had seen him with messy hair so it didnt bother him as much. He laughed at her reaction and then patted her on the head playing with her little neko ears, "Pay attention, little Lu." Topaz said trying to win back her attention from his chest. He could tell that she was getting pretty nervous and he cursed himself for wearing this shirt. Then again, he hadnt expected it to rain. He shut his eyes listening to the rythumic beat when the rain hit the ground. Her voice called him back to reality and he rose an eyebrows at her statement, "Was that before or during we were dating? That you started obessesing about me?" He wondered curiously, teasing her. Well you could of said he was a little bit obessessed with her as well. Though he didnt take it as far of having a little shrine about her and stalking her. It was merely the crush type obsession that he couldnt stop thinking about her. Even before they began to date. Lixu had called him a fool for not acting on it sooner but he did eventually.

Luna couldn't control where her eyes were looking, he was standing there drenched in a white shirt it was almost impossible for her not to look. She knew that what she had said shouldn't have slipped out, but it did, she couldn't think straight or say the right words, not with him standing there wearing what he was wearing and expecting her to be okay to look over it as if it was nothing. Of course she had seen this all before but that didn't make it any different, that was the same as if she was standing there in a white shirt and showing more than what she wanted to, should she say he'd seen this all before, even if he had it still wouldn't make a difference to how he would react.The same with her, even if she had seen his perfect toned body before, it wouldn't change her natural reaction. Closing her eyes again she swallowed hard, now was to hear his reaction, she expected him to tease her, she hoped he didn't torture her too much. As soon as he opened his mouth and claimed he could take off his shirt since it wouldn't make a difference, she knew he wasn't going to go easy on her. She let out a loud squeal and then quickly placed her hands over her mouth. "ehhhhhhhhh!!!! No no no...I wasn't looking at you.....I was....um well..." Luna started twiddling with her fingers and fidgeting around her words but before she could say anything else she could feel his hands playing around with her neko costume ears and telling her once again she should pay attention.

Still blushing she tried to let out a nervous laugh that sounded obviously nervous and gave a half smile. She mumbled something to herself under her breath and tried to relax, but it was harder now since he was standing closer to her and all she could smell his lovely scent and she found herself being intoxicated by it. This was bad, she needed to bring space between them again before either one of them did something they would regret. She tried taking a step back but as soon as he responded to what she said from before she was frozen in place. How could she answer that. When was she obsessed? She was always obsessed and in a small way she still was, but the obsession wasn't like she was nuts and some crazy ex stalker, but more that she couldn't stop thinking about him and having dreams or just remembering memories of them in the past, in reality she didn't even come five feet near him, that definitely did not fit the type of stalker obsession. In the past her only obsession was to be near him, it didn't really matter what they were doing, they could be eating or talking or whatever else it might be they would do, but as long as she could hear his voice and see his smile she was at bliss, that was her only obsession, nothing creepy. She didn't want to tell him that though, she knew he would only tease her even more, she couldn't handle the teasing now, it was making her feel uncomfortable.

"Eh....did I say obsessed I didn't mean that...really..." Luna replied and she laughed nervously again "I didn't mean obsessed like some freak...I just meant...well a-attached...." that was all she was going to say. She didn't want anything else slipping out.

Topaz had begun to tease her really soon about her staring at him. He knew he was good looking however didnt boast about it. Unless it was to tease other girls with it. Just like he was doing now with Luna. It didnt take him long to start teasing her about it all. He was soon claiming he could take off his shirt because she had seen it all before. Plus he was already soaking and would probably catch a cold from it all anyway so it didnt matter to him. He laughed at her little squeal at the mention of that and then shook his head, "You couldnt of made the staring any more obvious, Lu..." Topaz said with a little smile. Yes that boosted his ego and the hurt that he felt was slowly slipping away. Slipping back into the old reality, the happy reality... before he ruined everything between them. He lifted his hand and began to play with her cute neko ears telling her to pay attention, trying to win back at least some of the attention she was paying his currently covered with a very wet see through T-Shirt chest.

When she was blushing Topaz couldnt help just find her completely adorable. Even if half the blushes he caused her were his fault. They were standing unbeilevably close and Topaz just kept on getting hit by memories and familiarity. She hadnt changed much at all, looked, smelled and dressed the same exactly as it was months ago. He knew that if he didnt stop now he would regret something but however couldnt move away. More to the point he didnt want to. He wanted nothing more than to just loose himself in her like before. Not caring about the outside world... just them.

He listened to what she said when he asked her when she began getting obsessed with him. He just laughed a little at how nervous she was, "I know what you mean." Topaz said with a little smile of his own. The hand that was still playing with her neko ears stopped and moved down to her cheek, "It probably doesnt mean anything now, but... Ive been obsessed with you for ages. Before, during... and after..." Topaz said. It was true. He didnt like the Luna-less days. He could mark this down as being one of the happiest days since they split up, "I really miss you Lu." Topaz said his breath catching trying really hard to resist now, but was being unsucessful his hand moved and cupped her chin lifiting her head up to face him completely, "I just wish that..." Topaz said leaning in as he was talking however didnt finish and just met her lips again. His body was screaming 'YES' at him as was his heart.... however his mind was saying something entirly different. They shouldnt be doing this... but he couldnt move backwards.

Luna couldn't take back the embarrassed words nor could she hide all the blushing that was consuming her face. She was like stuck on a one way road and there was only one way to go. She gulped trying not to say anything else that she knew would make things even more uncomfortable but was she really hoping was that Topaz himself wouldn't say anything to make her squeal again. She knew that when she had squealed she must have given herself away, her words in response became pretty much useless then. She knew that for a fact when he said it was obvious that she had been staring. Luna could feel her heart suddenly racing faster than it had been before, this wasn't good, she was sure he could hear the loud thumping of her heart, it was really loud. She tried to breath and focus and not let her judgment get clouded by the thoughts of him swarming around in her mind and his luscious scent being so alluring in itself. She really needed to break some space between them but she was completely frozen in place, she couldn't move an inch nor was she really breathing, she was breathing very lightly anyways trying not to make a sound. She just stared at his soaked white t-shirt, not wanting to meet his eyes as he laughed and continued to tease her. This was expected, she had made a fool of herself before so she knew that he would tease her for it. It was what she practically set herself up for, to be teased to no end by a guy she knew was good at making a girl blush like nuts, he had done so many times before with her, she was gullible to his tactics every time.

She found it hard trying to explain herself without saying words that she didn't want to slip out. She wanted to tell him everything though, about all the dreams she had and how she couldn't stop thinking about him or the times when she was upset and had picked up her phone to dial his familiar number but could never press the send button because she was to afraid to let him in again, so she always ended up closing the phone and putting it back down. She never told him about the times that she even drove by his place but then drove away because she didn't want to stop by and say hello, she was too scared he wouldn't want to invite her in. She knew he would be somewhat angry at her even if she had more reasons to be angry at him. She didn't want to face his anger or him just being upset, so she avoided him. In the hallways at school of course she always saw him, saw him hanging around his friends, or the girls, but she usually pretended to not notice when he had his girls around, as if she was oblivious to him even being in the same room as her. But when she had seen him with Lixu or some other guy friends of his she actually considered walking by to say hello. She knew Lixu, she was somewhat good friends with him, she was confident enough she could come up and say hello to the both of them but even the time when she was actually going to do it some girl came and well she pretend to be heading the other direction instead of toward them.

She felt like the odd one out, so many times, like the ugly duckling, the one that didn't fit. She no longer fit his life style or his group of friends, sometimes she figured she must of been the one that was really to ruin the relationship, she was just not good enough so it made sense for him to want someone that was, but then Luna thought about how silly that sounded, she wouldn't put herself down of course she was good enough, maybe he wasn't good enough for her. Did that really matter though, her heart wanted him anyways aside from what her mind told her. He was still messing with her neko ears, she was still trying to pretend she that she was feeling uneasy from him being so close. He was so close she could feel his warm breath against her skin, so close that she could reach and touch him if she wanted, it was really hard to resist at the moment actually. She wanted to entangle her fingers into his hair like she always did or just wrap her arms around his waist and hold onto him while he held onto her. She then thought about the times she just cuddled up in his lap and read her book while he was either watching television or actually working on late and over due homework. It was perfect, even when they weren't saying any words at all, it was still perfect anyhow. She didn't like fighting with him, though of course they had their disagreements but the usually made up before she really had any time to be mad at him, she could never stay mad at him, he was too adorable for her to even try. It was like that now, he hadn't changed that part of him was still the same, being mad at him was impossible for her.

She sighed with some relief that he didn't press her on what she had meant about being obsessed or attached, he claimed to understand and that alone made her smile. She was glad he understood what she meant because she really didn't want to explain anything into words. She liked how he usually could read her, even if she wasn't saying anything, he somehow managed to know exactly what she was thinking, right now she really hoped he didn't know what she was thinking otherwise that would be horrid. Gulping she tensed up again, what if he did know? What was he going to do? Luna almost screamed in fright again but she bottled it up and let out a small squeal instead it was right after he told her that he been obsessed with her for ages, that he still was, what was going on? He still loved her? Was that what it? She really wasn't the only one feeling the way she was right now then, he must be feeling the same way? No, maybe he is just messing with her again, teasing her like he always did or like he even teased others? She didn't want to think about that, not how he teased other girls just to get them into bed. Wait, was that all was what he was wanting from her? Sex? If that was it then he really had another thing coming, there was no way she was going to sleep with him again, she was not in any mood for being used by him, didn't he know things like this hurt her, did he even care at all how she was feeling?

Her thoughts completely disappeared when she heard him say he missed her in the softest tone of voice. She gasped and looked up at him not knowing what to say, did he really mean that? Ugh! Why did she have to be so easily gullible to his words, now she couldn't help but smile as her eyes started to water up all over again she was going to cry but not because she was sad or angry, but because she was happy. She really wanted to hear him say that and now that he has it was almost as if it was a dream and she needed to be pinched to know if what she was feeling was real. She felt his hands move away from her costume ears and onto her cheek down to her chin where he forced her to look up at him, of course she was still blushing like an idiot. She couldn't breath though and all she could hear was her heart beating so freaking loud and then the rain itself pouring down but she was oblivious to everyone else, it was if they no longer existed and it really was just her and him standing there by themselves in the rain. She knew he was leaning in, his warm breath becoming hotter against her already flushed face and his scent becoming even stronger. She could look away, move, breathe, blink, or do anything, she was trapped in his gaze. She heard him speak again yet he didn't finish instead the worst thing yet what her heart was beating for to happen, happened, he kissed her. At first she was still so shocked her eyes were still wide open but slowly enough they closed and the kiss became a real kiss as she couldn't really keep herself from kissing him back, that would be literally impossible for any girl to do really. Just as her hands were reaching to grip his wet shirt instead she gripped on his shoulders and pushed him away even though she really truly didn't want to and one their lips were parted she slapped him. Not hard though, but still a slap is a slap to the face. She trembled not sure really why she did that but then thinking she had to because she knew he couldn't possibly be kissing her to be kissing her but only wanting to use her.

"Y-Your a-an a-ass...." her words came out stuttered again as she wrapped her arms around herself trembling cold from standing in the rain, the chill of the wind picked up and was blowing hard, too hard. Actually because Luna was so light it blew her toward him and she ran into him again. There was a loud strike of thunder and without thinking Luna wrapped her arms around him and buried her face into his chest trembling still. If he remembered, she hated thunder and lightening.

Topaz really just couldnt help himself. He got completely caught up in the moment which was so typical of him. He hadnt meant that to happen, he just really couldnt stop himself at all. Thoughts were running through his head. He knew she was probably thinking a few sweet words, play on her feelings thats it. He has her in his bed already. No he was actually serious. But considering their awful break up an the life that he had after it. It must of been what she was thinking.

However those thoughts flew out of his head and he was just thinking about them again, loosing himself in her when she began to kiss back. However he didnt move his hands. Usually he would wrap his arms around her waist to pull her closer, however he remained as he was. This was enough, when she moved a little she felt her pushing against his shoulder so he reluctantly moved away, along with being pushed. He knew it was too good to last too long. When they were separated her hand collided with his cheek. It wasnt hard but it got the message across, "I wasnt trying to use you Lu. I didnt do that just to get you into my bed later on." He said snipply. It hurt a little to hear that but he wasnt going to let her think that, "You would be the last girl I use like that. So to other girls I might be an ass. But with you, I'm seriously not." Topaz explained stroking his cheek a little thankfully that didnt hurt much, but there was definetly a small sting.

He stood straight for a moment neither of them saying anything. Both of them too shocked at what happened. Topaz wasnt going to say he was sorry because he wasnt. He wasnt sorry for what he did, because he wasnt taking advantage of her or anything. If he was trying that she would know about it because he certainly wouldnt of stopped when he felt her push him away. In the middle of his though train. Thunder rumbled across the sky, quickly followed by a flash of lightening. Before he knew it, she wrapped his arms around him burying her head in his chest. He just smiled knowingly remembered that she wasnt one for a storm. After a few moments he lifted his arms up and wrapped them around her, holding her close, stroking her hair, "Your ok..." Topaz said softly, like it was meant for her ears alone.

Luna kept her face burried against his chest. She had heard what he said before about not using her but it wasn't enough for her to really believe him, well she figured he was being honest but her mind still didn't want to believe him even if her heart had already forgiven him for the pain he caused her. Her heart was naive though, it was quick to forgive the unforgivable while her mind of course contradicted everything her heart would say, but some say it's best to go with your gut feeling or follow your heart, Luna wasn't so sure if she could. She didn't want to be left in a puddle of her own misery again like the time before, now especially when he had all these girls how could she ever trust him to be faithful. What if the inevitable happens again, like in the past he said the girl kissed him first, well he had all these girls now and one if they didn't really want to go poof now that he had a girlfriend again and she forced herself onto him then once again Luna catches the scene and well deja vu becomes a bitch, and so will payback. It was then that Luna had figured exactly what she wanted to do to get back at him, she wanted him to feel the same exact way she has lately with all of his girls and teasing and flirting, she wanted him to be jealous the same way she has been. Like they always say you never know what you really have until it's gone, well she planned to make that true for him.

Luna smiled laughing at herself for being such an idiot this entire time. Why hadn't she thought of such an idea sooner. It was silly of her to go along all these past months feelings sorry for herself and feeling like the one that was losing someone important when really he was the one that should be wallowing in pain. YES, payback is a bitch! Thats exactly what she would do, make him see that he needs her more than anything and all those girls can't compare to how wonderful and strange she really is. Luna felt her self confidence suddenly beaming and she begun to glow in a different way, she had a plan, it was a little evil and yeah it could get dirty but it was a plan and a plan was always good. Luna pulled away from Topaz after hearing him ask her if she was alright, she simply nodded her head in response and looked up at the sky, she found exactly what this storm really meant, it meant she was going to bring hell on Topaz and make him come back begging for her to take him back. Yep. It was great. Luna could see it now, silly boy thought he could find what he wanted in all those girls, but when he comes back to Luna will she actually take him back? That was one question Luna hadn't really thought about, she was all excited in the idea of making him a jealous little puppy but not the idea of taking in the stray dog once he came back to her doorstep. Luna wondered if giving him another chance was what she really wanted or needed to do. She looked over to Topaz again, him standing there still drenched in his clothes and the water dripping from his hair along with the little sad expression he did so well, she couldn't help but think 'Yeah...it's worth it...'

[/color] She loved him still and it took a storm, some rain, and well a kiss and a slap to the face for her to realize that. Thats why this plan would work, because if she was right, and some how she felt she was, he must still have feelings for her too.

Luna smiled and sighed nudging Topaz in the arm she felt like her old self again, not held down by a weight of pain or bad memories, it was within this storm that washed all those memories and feelings of pain away, she was a new girl, one that was determined. "Will you walk me home? Were so going to get sick from this..." Luna laughed and waited for Topaz before locking her arm with his, if he noticed something had changed about her, it could be good or it could be bad, but to Luna everything felt like it was going to finally be coming together, poor Topaz didn't have a clue what he was in for.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/size]
