Troubled Times (Luna)

Topaz had been moping for days. Since that day at the concert he hadnt been himself at all. He flew off the handle at Luna and and at his best friend. He felt positivly awful for doing so, but he had enough of their flaunting. It turned out it was just Luna's plan to get him jealous and make him feel the pain she felt of when she walked in on Topaz cheating on her. Yes what he did was awful and anyone would of thought so. Yes Luna didnt go as far as he had but the point was, she did the plot with his best friend. He had no idea she could stoop so low as that. Yes pay back was a bitch, he knew that. But getting at it with his best friend was in his books just wrong.

So they hadnt spoke at all and Topaz made a point of avoiding any type of girl whatsoever. He just didnt want to deal with girls anymore, for a long time. Commitment or no commitment, he had enough of them alltogether. So for a few days now he had isolated himself. Lixu was touring for his debut for a few months. Not much time had passed since it started so he was away for a long time. Sitting in the school cafeteria his blazer undone so just his white shirt was showing underneath. He sat there picking at his lunch tray. Too many thoughts plauging his mind and just lost his appetite.

Looking up a moment and into the cafeteria he noticed Luna come in. Once he spotted her he stared for a moment with an emotionless expression then looked back down at the dinner tray. He wasnt in the mood to have it out with her, not today. Her plan for getting him back worked, but two wrongs never make it right. So sitting in his lonely corner, he hoped that Luna would just walk right on past him, however not everyone gets what they hope for.

It had been a little over a week now since the incident with her and Lixu vs Topaz and Saeka. It actually went worst than she expected, she was hoping Topaz would of reacted differently then again it was Topaz and his red hair wasn't just the most noticeable thing about him but he could be a "hot head" and tempermental when pushed to many of his buttons. Luna never really seen him as fired up though as he was back there, he had punched Lixu in the face and completely scorned Luna until she actually ran off and cried once she was gone. The thing had turn into a disaster, all because of that one forbidden kiss, Luna didn't even enjoy it and Lixu hadn't seen it coming, but she did it to make Topaz feel her wrath, well he did but he didn't take it so well. He was avoiding her completely, not just that but he hadn't spoken with his best friend either even after he left he hadn't called, Luna knew this because she called Lixu and asked, but after that Lixu himself became busy in his debuting that he didn't have time to answer any of her phone calls, she wanted to apologize for everything turning into a mush, a bigger mush than she had expected, he didn't even get Saeka, well Luna thought that, but hopefully she did make the girl a little jealous she had been quick to snap at her every time she said something teasingly cruel to her but the girl purposely made all these moves on Topaz to make Luna jealous, well she managed that as well as upsetting someone who had a sparked interest in her.

Luna had gone days without speaking to Topaz, he wasn't answering his phone either and she didn't dare go by his house knowing that he wouldn't answer the door or probably would and then just end up slamming it right back in her face, that was kind of like what Luna did. She opened back to having Topaz in her life then she let the door slam in his face, she was trying to get his attention but instead she pushed him away instead of grabbing his heart. She felt horrible for it, she had cried enough tears until her eyes were puffy and red and couldn't cry anymore. She was sick from a cold that finally got back at her from being in the rain so long with Topaz. Luna was a sensitive girl when it came to being outside, she could get sick easily and not to mention her sensitive skin to allergy to direct uv rays, she couldn't tan or being in direct sun light for any period of time, that's why she was pale and thats why she avoided the sun the best she could when it was hot summer days, she had her umbrella and she usually avoiding walking around but instead driving in her car and staying indoors, it was too damn hot to be outside anyways. Luna hated hot weather not just because of her little illness but because of it being irritating and easy for people to get temperamental in hot weather, while in cold weather at the very least people will get gloomy but usually people want to get "cozy".

Luna walked through the school's crowded corridors until she reached the cafeteria. She smiled and waved at her friends and planned to join them at their table all until she saw Topaz sitting there at table by himself and eating alone. They made quick eye contact but he soon looked away and he had up this entire aura that said loud and clear 'LEAVE ME ALONE, I AM BEING PISSY' Luna sighed and walked over to the table slowly, she felt her steps getting heavier each time she made a move toward him, finally reaching the table she slid down into the seat across from him not saying a word, just staring at her hands and trying to find something to say. He seemed to be occupied with eating his lunch, not really, he was picking at it. "I know what I did was horrible...but I had my reasons, maybe I made bad judgment in how to handle it, but I had my reasons...." Luna stated in a soft voice she felt the lump coming again but she swallowed it down, she would allow herself get too emotional, yet really could she avoid that? She didn't know what else to say, well there was so many things she wanted to say to him but she just didn't know how to say it all or put it all into words. It was a jumbled mess in her mind and things were rushing through her, she hoped that he would say something, she hoped he wouldn't get up and walk away or 'shut the door in her face'. They did enough of closing each other out, they needed to open up.

Topaz was all sitting alone. Lately its how he had always been. Lixu was away debuting, girls he just gave up on completely. He went out with one on the odd occasion but it had been a few weeks since he had seen the last one. Where as he used to see one at least once or twice a week. Picking at his sandwich eating the odd bits of it. He wasnt really that hungry at all lately. Hadnt eaten properly... well since arguing with his best friend and his ex. Now his best friend was away for months, not sure when he was coming back. He couldnt really talk about it over the phone. It had to be done face to face. As for Luna. He could talk to her whenever, but he hadnt plucked up the courage to do so yet. They would have to talk soon though, Topaz knew it.

Topaz looked around the cafeteria hearing hused whispers to the side from some girls. He just ignored them where as usually he would sometimes turn around to them and wink. Flicking his gaze to the door he noticed Luna come into the canteen. Well makes sense she couldnt sit outside in the blaring sunlight. They made eye contact for a few moments and then Topaz looked away. His aura of 'Do Not Disturb' was definetly working. For most people anyway. He would of been shocked if Luna had of left him and not come over.

Topaz sighed noticing how she was definetly and deliberatly coming over to him. Well he couldnt really avoid it any longer. Neither could she. Topaz didnt say a word to her when she sat opposite him. He pretended to be utterly intrested in his very mauled sandwich. Topaz listened to what she said and then laughed under his breath, "Horrible? What could these wonderful reasons be then Luna?" Topaz said very sarcastically. He couldnt beileve how horrible he sounded right now. He didnt want to be horrible but really he still couldnt get past all the jealousy and anger right now.

Luna hoped that Topaz would talk with her. She had been feeling really crappy and lonely the past few days and couldn't get over how this must really be affecting him, even if she still felt that she had every right to be more upset. She didn't want this to go on any longer than it really had to, they needed to talk. It had been a few days, she could understand the needed space because she needed it as well to think about what she wanted to say to him or just how she wanted to handle it, but really she still had no clue and the past few days have been nothing but misery and feelings of emptiness. She had to see his face again, she hadn't seen him at all the past few days it was as if he just disappeared, she couldn't spot out his red hair around school, but maybe he was purposely not hanging out in the same spots that he usually does just so she won't see him or think to talk to him. Luna hadn't been avoiding him though. Sighing a little she could see that he wasn't going to say anything first so she had spoken up first trying to explain herself. But he appeared to be ignoring her and she felt like she was talking to a brick wall. She hated this silent treatment thing that he was trying to pull off with her, it was making her feel irritated and it wasn't helping their situation at all. She just waited for him to say something, not looking at him but at her hands and fiddling around with her thumbs nervously as she always did when she was facing the pressure from someone else.

Finally she heard a light cynical laugh that came from Topaz and coolly he spoke a few words to her, he wanted to know her reasons for pulling this entire thing on him. She sighed, he was really upset, and she could see that this entire thing was a mistake. She didn't want to hurt him like this, she knew two wrongs didn’t make a right, but people still do it anyways don’t they. They want to make the person that made them feel so horrible to feel the same exact pain they did but it turns around to bite both of them in the butt, and neither one really wants to take blame. Luna sat back and looked at him even if he wasn’t looking at her at the moment. “I am sorry, I really am, and you should know that I didn’t do any of this to intentionally hurt you this much, I only wanted to make you jealous and perhaps feel the same as I have felt all these past months seeing you with different girls and feeling completely empty.” She choked on the last bit of her words, she tried not to get too emotional here, and she didn’t want to make a scene between them. Instead she figured it would be best they went somewhere to talk, out of this crowded cafeteria where anyone could be listening and just the fact so many people are around it’s hard to concentrate and just talk with the other. “Can we please go some where and talk, you know you want to talk to me…even if you pretend to just try and avoid me, you can’t keep avoiding me and neither can I avoid you or our issue…”

Standing up slowly she straightened out her uniform skirt, it was actually a bit short on her, she was a small girl and they people that fitted them the for the uniforms gave her a short skirt, but there was nothing that could really be done about it now. She crossed her fingers with her arms in front of her and she waited to see if he would stand up and follow here someplace out of the crowded cafeteria. She really hoped he would. This wasn’t something that either of them could run away from, they have been doing enough of that already, avoidance, jealousy, anger, bitching, and just feeling down right used and stepped on, they both had taste of both side of the plate, now they just needed to resolve things. Starting by giving each other a chance and listening to what the other one has to say instead of just ignoring them and pushing all their words aside, it didn’t do any good for either of them. Nothing would be solved and anger will just last and the all of this would have been for nothing. Luna had felt really terrible the last few months; she really didn’t want to go through that type of pain all over again.

Soon the girl he had hoped would just ignore him once again, sat down right in front of the table. He knew it would be coming up eventually, he couldnt avoid it any longer, even if he did want to. He was making out that his food was more intresting, when of course it wasnt. It looked like a crumbled mess on his plate. He wasnt going to be the one to start this convosation. He didnt know what to say through out the convosation, let alone starting it. Eventually she had started after for a few moments of sitting there.

He was so angry that he could help but just be completely cynical and sarcastic. He didnt mean to be but the nice Topaz was buried underneath a sheet of jealousy and anger he couldnt seem to escape. He waited for her reasons and then dropped his fork and looked at her. This convosation was far from over. At her answers he looked around them. When he heard her reasons. He didnt say anything. He didnt want to discuss it here and neither did she because she suggested that they moved to a more private spot somewhere in the school, "Ok..." He said reasonably calm and stood up sliding his chair out and not bothering to put it back in. He didnt bother to wait for her as she was already standing. Leaving the cafeteria he headed for the music classrooms. It was where they were both at their calmest, surrounded by something familiar.

Taking a step into the music classroom he locked the door behind them do they wouldnt be disturbed by a wandering student. He took a seat on a random desk in the room and getting comfortable. He might be here for a while, "So you planned to go with my best friend, in order to get me jealous, of you being with another guy..." Topaz repeated and then shook his head in anger, "Thats really low Luna... Even for you." Topaz said outloud and really couldnt beileve any of this at all, "You know that those girls all meant nothing to me. I had good friendships with them, yes. I didnt exactly go and screw your best friend, did I Luna?" Topaz snapped gripping the desk on either side. Just somewhere to vent his anger at so he didnt explode at her. He couldnt live with himself if he done that. Behind all the jealousy and anger... He still loved her. Just as strong as it was when they had began dating.

Luna sighed in a bit relief that he agreed to go with her someplace private. She figured he was going to also listen to her and all that she had to say, while she would do the same to him without any interruptions, but Topaz was known to be a "hot head" when angered, so she wondered how good of a listener her really was going to be without interrupting her while she talked and explained her side of things. She knew some of their fights in the past, normal couple quarrels, he sometimes had just overlooked everything she said which often annoyed her to no end that he took everything so lightly. But now he was different, much colder than the other times they quarreled over silly things, he was really hurt, and Luna could see that just by how he was acting different than the other times they talked. She felt even more horrible than she had before, what was she going to do, was he even going to forgive her? She followed behind Topaz as they walked away from the cafeteria toward the the empty music classroom, Luna always came here when she wanted peace to herself in this school and needed to clear her thoughts by playing music, it was sort of like a "healing" place for her, she hoped that was true for right now as well because they both needed some healing.

When they were in the classroom, she walked towards the center of the room and turned around to face Topaz, she saw him locking the door and figured it was to keep unwanted guests out. She sighed and took a seat at one of the desks in the room. She waited for him to say something this time since the last time she had been the one to speak first. she didn't want to speak up first this time around. She waited patiently, drumming her fingers on the desk it wasn't long before he brought up the thing with Lixu being the one she chose as to make him jealous. Luna knew it appeared really bad, but it wasn't just because of that, she didn't personally choose him to just make Topaz jealous but to help her get him back since he's the closet one to Topaz at the moment. She looked at Topaz when he claimed she was stooping really low, that really hurt and cut her like no other words have. She couldn't believe he just said that. She felt her heartbeat slowing down to steady beat. She listened to the rest he added and she quickly stood up and slapped him across the face and glaring at him she snapped "Do you really think I would do that? Sleep with your best friend...It was all pretend...but believe what you want."

Turning away from him she walked toward the other end of the room messing with the keyboard that was set up over there. It was much like the piano so she knew her way around it as well, she hit a few keys on it then sighed. "You think I did all this just to make you hate me? Obviously I wanted to make you see me, but your too blinded by all those other girls to even notice me anymore. So I used jealousy, but I wasn't intentionally going to use Lixu, I only chose him when I ran into him, I thought it would be perfect, I knew he would have to help if I told him the reason why and but of course I had to help him with something as well, the jealousy wasn't just aimed for you Topaz..." Luna sighed once again she knew he was going to ask more question, what did she tell Lixu to convince him, what was the terms of the agreement, or just plain yell at her so he can get his anger spilling out of his body. Luna would have to bear it, even if that meant holding back words of her own or tears even, she would just listen to him, saying hurtful things she knew he was hurting and it was why he was being so cold toward her, but she had been cold toward him as well so it felt somewhat even in this case.

Once stepping into the classroom he locked the door behind them. He didnt want anyone to step in on them arguing. This talk had to be completely private. Topaz didnt want it spread around the school what was happening between them. Once he had locked the doors he sat on a desk. Silence hung between both of them again and it seemed she wasnt going to start talking to him either.

Eventually he began talking, he answered her statement earlier before they left the cafeteria. He wasnt being very nice and he really regretted it as soon as he said it. When he has this discussions with anyone most of what he said was said in anger and sometimes didnt mean any of it. Soon after he snapped at her she got up and slapped him and his head whipped to the side. She definetly didnt hold anything back in that. Turning back to her, his eyes blazing with anger, "The Luna I knew wouldnt do that. But you were hitting on my best friend right in front of my face. As far as I knew then, it wasnt pretend." Topaz said talking about when she was actually flirting with him. Now he knew it was all the make him jealous, "I do beileve you... Lixu wouldnt do something like that lightly either." Topaz said. Luna knew that Topaz would. He had slept with a lot of girls since they split up. But they all meant nothing to him but friendship and a good time.

As she turned away he moved his hand up to his cheek that she had slapped. He mouthed ouch and then acted normally when she started playing on the keyboard. Just the tune was more or less soothing. Topaz could play a few tunes as well. He had taught himself when he wrote yet another song that was piano based. So he could play that song, he hadnt bothered with playing it since.

He listened to what she said and it just made him feel worse. He looked at the door picking a spot to stare at until she was done, "I dont hate you. I could never hate you. I'm just... dissapointed. Couldnt you see that I was already hurting enough, for hurting you?" Topaz said a little snappy. He had been punishing himself since. He just didnt let people know it. He was sometimes good at hiding his emotions, but certain people, like Luna and Lixu who could read him like a book, "I'm not blinded. Of course I still see you. All those girls, are just friends. Some of them close friends. But thats all. If I was blinded I wouldnt of seen you that day in the rain..." Topaz said amazingly softly. When she mentioned something else he was a little confused about. Who else could the jealousy possibly be aimed at? He looked at her with a confused expression, "Who else?" Topaz asked thinking a little about it. Most of the other times he was alone just with Lixu hanging out like mates did. The only other time he was with someone else other than Lixu was.... and then Topaz cracked out in a smile, "He didnt tell me. The devious little scumbag." He said finding it rather funny. If he knew then he would of stopped seeing her all together. Now he felt like an awful friend for flaunting her in front of his face. What must it of been doing to him was awful but he just didnt know, "Either way, it still doesnt justify that you deliberatly went with Lixu. Yes it wasnt intentionally and I beileve you. But still, you chose him. Whatever it was killing two birds with one stone." Topaz said trying to calm himself down and he was talking a little normally, "If this was just payback for the pain you felt back then, you suceeded. Thinking that you could of just moved on didnt agree with me at all, no matter who it was." He said with a sad laugh. He wouldnt cry, he couldnt in front of Luna.

Luna hadn't noticed that she slapped him so hard, she was so angry she just let it go flying through her hand and into contact with his cheek. She just needed to release the anger that was growing inside of her and needed to escape. She walked over to the keyboard that she was familiar with and started to hit some of the keys not really trying to play anything in particular. She stopped and paused for a moment to explain to Topaz exactly why she wanted to this and why Lixu was the one chosen for it. She wondered if he would even believe her. He seemed to be so caught up around the idea that she was stooping down to his level and using his best friend for her dirty deeds. She wasn't trying to stoop any lower than she already felt, she wanted so badly to make him see how she felt all these months and she somewhat now finally succeeded. But it didn't feel like any good victory, she felt like she really had done the wrong thing by making two wrongs, it wasn't going to make this thing any better. She could feel her heart shattering at the very moment, the pieces that she had lost before, they were standing in front of her, Topaz, but he had no idea that she felt this way for him still. He was just thinking that she was doing all of this just to make him feel the same pain she did, she was doing it for more than that, she was wanting him to come back running to her, but now she could see and understand that was not going to happen. He wasn't going to forgive her this one, this time she is the one to ruin everything.

Luna listened to him ramble on, he even finally figured out what she meant by the jealousy not only being toward him. Yeah Lixu was wanting to make Saeka a little jealous as well, he had a crush on her some where along the way Luna figured that it would work good with their plan, they both could get what they wanted, but it didn't look like that played to be true in any way. Lixu was gone without Saeka, Topaz is angry and trying to avoid Luna, and Luna is just caught somewhere in between what is right and what is wrong, pain and demented, and she has to face herself now as the enemy instead of Topaz, this time she was at fault. Sighing she sat down in the bench at the keyboard, laying her her arms across the keys it made a sound as she rested her head on her arms. She felt a streak of tear drip down from her eyes but she hid her face buried behind her arms so that Topaz couldn't see her. She didn't say anything, she just remained silent while she listened to him talk and when he finished she just remained as she was with her face buried and tears slowly coming faster like dripping water from the faucet and each tear slowly splashed onto the keys of the keyboard. Nothing could make her feel this lousy and never had she felt as if she was losing grasp on what makes sense and what doesn't.

She wanted more than anything just to fix a broken heart and a open wound, but instead she seemed to shatter it even more and puncture the wound even deeper. She was a failure, no matter what she did it all seemed to come out wrong. She was a lost cause to everyone now, especially Topaz, she had no reason to hurt him as so, even with the pain he caused her she never was one to turn around and bite the other person harder than they have bitten her, instead she was one to place the band-aid on the bite mark. Not this time though, she was the one with the sharp fangs and venom. She hated herself for letting anger and jealousy get the best of her, but then again she is only human and no one is perfect. Just like anyone else she's afraid to face her fears, so instead she tries to run and hide from them. She planned on doing that now as well.

Silence hung in the room after their little speech. God this was so awful. For both of them not just for him. He really wanted to forgive her but was so hurt at the moment he couldnt say it. Not yet. Whatever would come out of this, he didnt want to loose her as a friend. He couldnt live with that at all. He couldnt bare not to be able to talk to her again. Those months after their break up were just awful for him. He was sure they were awful for her as well.

The way they were at the moment, Topaz tried to avoid any contact with Luna at all for the past few days which certainly didnt help any. They were both left to wallow in their feelings while nothing was being discussed. He had enough of it so they would have to sort everything out here and now. Whatever came out of it, anything had to be better than what he was feeling right now.

Hearing the loud noise come from the keyboard he looked over to her to find she had just leant her head on the keys, so he couldnt see her face anymore. He remained unmoving and silent, he stared out of the window. Someone had to do something, just this silence was unbearable. Standing off the table he walked quietly over towards the chair in which Luna was sitting in facing the keyboard. He took a chair of his own and sat next to her, "Look at me, Lu... Please..." Topaz asked softly. He placed a hand on her shoulder. He hated himself for making her feel like this. He couldnt know how badly she was hurting right now. He was guessing a little worse than he was, "You dont need to hide from me. You should know that..." Topaz spoke again. He had seen her cry, also at her absolute worst and it never affected him. Well it didnt make him think less of her. They were both confused, both unsure what to do. However he didnt like when she hid it from him. Neither of them were the type to cry in front of another, however he never thought little of her. She was just a human, as was he. He just can keep his tears inside, with effort but it sometimes worked.

All Luna could think about at the moment is how much pain she caused the both of them, nothing else mattered, she was starting to believe that maybe she put Topaz and herself through enough and that they just both needed to move on, but that thought was unbearable to consider when her heart still longed to be near him. She kept her face buried behind her folded arms against the keyboard. She couldn't look at him now especially since she was crying silly selfish tears. She didn't want him to see her cry, she hated crying in front of others and usually she did her best to not let what others say or do effect her enough to show such vulnerability in herself, but she couldn't control that now, all the emotions that have been building up inside her and wanting to just spill out finally did and there wasn't any way she could keep herself from crying. But she wasn't going to let him see so that was why she was hiding her face, she didn't want to face him, not now anyways. She just listened to him continue to talk until things suddenly went silent, she was going to look up to see if he was still standing there but then she heard his footsteps coming closer and so she didn't look up to see.

She heard him scooting up a chair next to the keyboard and then softly he whispered and asked her to look at him. She simply shook her head lightly and sniffed a little. She didn't want to look at him she was afraid of what she would say or do, or what he would say and do. He spoke again telling her she had no reason to hide from him, it was then Luna finally looked up at him, her dark mascara running down her face along with the tears she was crying. She sighed and wiped them away not looking at him as she did. She sniffed a little bit more before turning around in the stool to face him. Her eyes were a light pink color from crying and the tip of her nose was flushed pink along with her pale cheeks. She knew she must of looked like a real mess at the moment, she felt like one. Slightly coughing she cleared her throat and made a pained expression, her throat was sore, it had been for the last few days she was trying to get over a cold that of course was caused from that day in the rain. Luna sighed again and coughed a little bit more before having to clear her throat once more and she had another pained expression cross her face. She hated being sick, next to this pain she was feeling for hurting Topaz it was the worst, the two mixture of both, she felt really lousy and crappy. Lying her head back down on the keyboard she closed her eyes for a moment, she really didn't feel good, and it wasn't helping that Topaz was upset with her. She felt pretty warm as if she might be running a fever. She just wanted to lie down. "..... I-I ...feel lousy...." she mumbled in a tired tone of voice and laughed lightly to herself and opened her eyes to look back at Topaz. "H-How did w-we even get here....we were such good friends...I-I miss that..." She smiled a little and closed her eyes again before coughing more and then letting out a soft groan. She felt really crappy now, the day started off okay but it was ending pretty badly and she was feeling worst than before. She didn't want Topaz to worry though, but it was sort of inevitable that he would.

It didnt take Topaz long to move up next to her. Neither of them were saying anything and Topaz wasnt going to talk to her with her facing down on a keyboard. Pulling up a chair and sat next to her and placed a hand on her shoulder asking her ever so softly for her to look at him. He clearly noticed the head shake indicating she wouldnt lift her head. He then shook his head with a sigh before stating she didnt have to hide from him. Eventually she looked up and he smiled. He agreed with her she didn look rubbish with the black tear streamed cheeks however he didnt care one little bit. He smiled when she wiped her eyes before she turned around to face him. His hand was still on her shoulder and he smiled wiping a few extra tears away gently with his fingers and then took his hand away. before she started to apologise again and he looked away from her straight ahead out of a window.

He did listen to her and he smiled a little when she mentioned she wasnt the type of girl to be that nasty. That was part of the shock really. He just hadnt seen that kind of thing coming from her at all. That was hurt the most really, "I understand, Lu. I do. It just really wasnt expected. Althought I'm still shocked that you hadnt tried it sooner." He said with a small laugh. Looking back at her he nodded. He understood a little more now and why she chose Lixu. He knew what he had to do. Well Lixu had obviously played matchmaker for him. Topaz would just be selfish if he didnt do the same, "I forgive you, just give me time to figure things out." He wanted to get back together with her first but, he had some things to sort first. I think it was pretty obvious to them both that they still loved each other. He thought that Luna would want to give it a go, otherwise she really wouldnt of bothered with this plan.

He looked at her hearing her cough a few times before lying her head back down on the keyboard. He gave her a confused look before asking, "Are you alright?" Topaz asked tilting his head a little. He soon got her answer that she was feeling lousy. He smiled at her a little when she asked how they got here, "You know as well as I do it was my fault. If I hadnt of gone out that night and got drunk, we wouldnt be here. Well maybe here but not talking about this." Topaz said with a sad little smile, "I miss that too..." Hopefully now they could get back to that. She had gotten her revenge and Topaz now just wanted to forget about it. When she began coughing again his eyes clouded with worry, "Your really not ok..." Topaz said lifting his hand to her head. She felt pretty warm and then Topaz took it away, "Come on. I'm taking you to the infirmary..." Topaz said standing up and pushing his chair away. He would take her even if he had to carry her there.

Luna was happy that he wasn't yelling at her anymore, or at least not raising his voice and being completely filled with anger. He said he understood her reasons but was surprised it didn't happen sooner, that made her laugh again, why would he say that? She nodded when he said he had things he needed to figure out, of course, she knew he needed his space. She wondered if that meant he was going to be wanting her back, she wondered if he knew that she was wanting him back as well. She smiled, at least he had finally forgiven her, she needed to hear those words from him, she had been wanting to get him to forgive her all these past days, and now he finally did and she no longer really had to worry about it. She closed her eyes again when he explained that she knew exactly how they got here, she hated that story, she didn't want to hear of it ever again, she wanted to just over it over with dirt and start a new relationship with him, forgetting the past mistakes and bad heart break.

"Y-yea I know...let just forget it..." She said and let out another cough and she opened her eyes when he said she's isn't okay, she just tried to smile to impose that she was but of course it didn't work when he felt for her forehead and knew that she was running a high fever. He offered to take her to the infirmary but she didn't feel like she really needed to go, well she was too proud to ever say that she was sick and needed his help, she always been like that, she always wanted to help others more than they ever had to help her. "No no I am fine...I just need to rest my eyes for a bit..." Luna nodded and she then closed her eyes again reaching for his face placing her hand against his cheek, slowly felt herself growing really deeper into the dark spaces of her thoughts, was she falling asleep? It didn't feel like it, it felt as if she was loosing grip of consciousness.

Her hand slowly fell from his cheek and she laid there slouched over on the keyboard, unconsciously passed out.

[Topaz Fontain]

Topaz didnt like the look of Luna at the moment. She looked like she could barely lift her head from the keyboard. It didnt take him long to feel her forehead regardless of her complaints and protests. Coming to the conclusion she wasnt at all well and he was going to take her to the infirmary. Something wasnt right at all. He had been ill for a few days after them being out in the rain. But he recovered. He had a bit of a cold and that was it. Looks like it was still affecting Luna.

When she said she just wanted to rest her eyes for a little she closed them and reached for his face covering his cheek with her hand. Gently he put his own over it, "You are not fine. I'm taking you the infirmary even if I have to carry you." He argued with her. When her hand fell from his cheek as she wasnt holding it there he mumbled 'damn it' to himself. Lifting her shoulders backward and laid her backwards on his arm. Putting another one under her knees he lifted her up bridal style and started heading for the infirmary. The locked door was a problem but he managed.

Running with her towards the infirmary he pushed open the doors with his back and the nurses jumped to attention instantly. Asking questions about what happpened, "We were talking and she looked pretty sick. She was coughing and has a pretty high tempreture. She fainted just before I said I was bringing her here." Topaz said answering the question after he lay her down on the bed.

There wasnt much they could do until she regained consciousness so she got wet cloth and started dabbing her forehead with it trying to bring down the fever. After a few moment she asked Topaz to continue as she had to go and answer the phone. Topaz took the cloth from her and started dabbing Luna's forehead with the cloth trying to bring down the fever, and also waiting to her to wake up.

Luna could hear the words that Topaz was speaking she just couldn't open her eyes, she felt lost and she couldn't talk to him. She could feel the movements of him picking her up and carrying her, though she was still unsure of what was happening. She kept seeing nothing but darkness and everything was jumbled up, his words, her thoughts, the sound of her hear racing like crazy, it was all intensified beyond the usual. Before she knew it she was in the infirmary and she could feel the cold pressure being applied to her really warm skin, it was damp towel. Luna felt herself slowly waking up, the nurse was there but she left and it was just Topaz and she wanted to open her eyes and say something to him but she couldn't her body was still asleep even if her mind wasn't. Struggling with herself she wanted to scream at herself for being so stupid, how could she think she could get over a cold without taking the precautions to take medicine and such, she had a slightly low immune system, nothing too bad but when it came to fighting off growing infections it took extra just to get over little things such a cold if she let it get any worst.

Finally she was able to make a noise, it was nothing more than a low groan but it was enough to let Topaz to know that she was slowly coming back into consciousness. She slowly opened her eyes to see that she was standing over her with the cold towel dabbing her forehead, he took such good care of her, even after all that she did to him he was still willing to care for her. She tried to smile and say something but she ended up coughing instead and groaning again. "C-C-Can...I-I have something w-warm to d-drink..." Slowly words started forming and she was able to speak though it really hurt to, she wondered if it was more than just a swore throat or if her tonsils were a little swollen, either way it really hurt to talk and she wanted something warm to sooth her throat.

Topaz sat there beside her in the infirmary. He wouldnt leave, classes or no classes he didnt care. Its not like he paid attention in class anyway. The nurse tried to make him leave but like most teacher he just told her no. He just didnt want to dump her in the infirmary and leave her. She might just have a fever but that wasnt the point at all. Topaz took over trying to bring the fever down by dabbing the wet towel on her forehead.

He sighed to himself wondering why he hadnt noticed that she was ill sooner in the convosation today. His shouting certainly didnt help. Now he just felt completely bad. Lost in thoughts he barely heard her soft groan escape her lips and then he looked back at her, "Lu..." He called down at her and stopped dabbing her forehead. Eventually her beautiful yellow eyes opened and he looked down towards her, "Welcome back sleepy head..." Topaz teased dabbing her fore head again before putting the cloth back in the water. When she mumbled something about wanting a warm drink. The nurse however was already on her way back with a warm drink she placed it in front of Luna and then left again. Obviously she didnt like being told no, "You going to sit up and drink this,Lu?" He said putting a hand behind her back and starting to help sit her up properly.
