She was the completely new kid. Completely new. It wasn't like the other new kids around, she came from halfway around the world just to live as a normal teenager. Though she didn't know why but her mother sure did. To be honest, she wanted to stay home and continue her private classes, be alone and blame herself for her future. But her mother read her like a child's book and sent her away. Other than the reason to be like a normal teenager but also to clear relations to China. Apparently, she was the only one that could do such a thing. Again she didn't know why.
Magali paced back and forth while on the roof. The soft breeze blowing her hair here and there. She took in a deep breath of fresh air and let it soothe her body. She stopped and looked up to the skies. Speaking aloud, Magali addressed her bodyguard/butler, “Tristan, do you think I can do this?” The bodyguard/butler merely blinked, “Of course Princess. You are the most capable person that I can think of. You can make the best relations with China.” Magali scrunched her face and shook her head with a smile, “I didn't mean that Tristan! I meant being around people my own age, making friends and just living like a normal teenager.”
Tristan made an 'o' face and nodded in agreement, “Of course Princess.” Magali shook her head and went near Tristan. She gave him a hit on the arm and smirked, “Smile, like you normally do. I like that side of you better.” Mag pouted and crossed her arms, “Okay?” The bodyguard/butler grinned and stood near the door of the entrance of the roof, “I'll go get you lunch. You'll need all the energy you can get for introducing yourself after lunch, Princess.” Magali nodded and watched him walk past the threshold of the door, down the stairs and out of sight. She smiled and turned toward the railing on the edge of the roof and leaned against it. Looking to the skies again, Magali spoke, “Pray for me Mama. Cheer me on!”

A sleepy eyed student came up the stairs passing the body, cuing a slow motion effect, as his eyes swerved around the clothes of the individual, he said nothing with a smile on his face. He saw the girl and simply came forward going towards a spot close by the entrance that he had been before in his days of coming to the roof during lunch and closed his eyes as he yawned. "Nice, Sarina-chan's doing something important today, and I can relax, such a gorgeous day to." He said to himself with a soft whisper.
He opened his eyes to look to the sky with a straight face, and lazy eyes, he cracked a smile as he had done so, and laughed to himself. "I wish one of those clouds were pillows, I could sure use a nap." He yawned once more, licking his lips, his hands going on his legs, he sighed once again, and closed his eyes as he laid backwards more so, his hands to the back of his head. "What a pleasant site to see, I mean, so calm and alluring, the scent of the flowers and the wind blowing so calmly, the gods are happy..."

“Are you back already Tristan? That was qui-” Magali said in French as she turned around. She wasn't expecting someone else other than Tristan to be on the roof. Magali gasped and put a hand over her heart and backed up closer toward the railing. She stopped as she felt the cold feeling of the railing on her back. Magali just looked at Jindai. She didn't know what to say to him. She was just shocked and scared a little. And plus she didn't know how to talk to him. Magali knew very little Chinese and Japanese. She noticed his lips said something but because of the breeze and his soft voice, Magali couldn't understand a word he said.
Her head cocked to the side as she just looked to him. He looked nice and Magali thought she could perhaps trust him. Magali always had a problem with strangers and was slow to trust. But then it ran through her mind that she need to make friends and perhaps this was her chance. Magali listened to the boy speak. She wished she studied more Asian languages. Magali rummaged through her pockets for her translation book. After listening to what he said, she looked up the words. Slowly, the sentences came through. Her head titled to the side again as she thought about something to say after the comment about the clouds but nothing came to mind.
Magali continued to look up words as he continued to speak. Once she found all the words and put his sentences together, she smiled. Then she nodded and finally speaking is said in horrible Chinese, “Right. Soothing... wind... nice... flowers... smell... happy... devil...” She paused and said, “WAIT! No... I meant Gods... gods...” Magali was disappointed now. She made a bad first impression and felt like an idiot. Looking up a full sentence in her book she asked in Chinese, “Do you know English?” Magali hoped he did. It would be easier to communicate that way.

He said nothing towards the girl as she was far away, he was in his own world for a while, his eyes were have open and he was happy, as always, imagining the days and the dancing of the wind around him. He placed his hands towards his head and began to shift his body, laying it on the ground, not caring about it being hard. He then smirked as he closed his eyes. "That's pretty funny."
He began to listen to her Chinese, being way off on the last word he only listened as she changed her tone and was now embarrassed. "Come sit by me and I'll tell you." He said in a normal tone, seeing that she was shy he wanted to get her comfortable thanks to his worm compassionate heart. "I can speak English." He said within his tone of voice a happy type of work on his words. "Question is, are you OK, I can see you have a nervous exterior."
He simply went on to listened to her more so as he sighed his eyes closing. "Come on, you can do it, relax, I won't hurt you or bite you, I'll gladly listen, because I don't judge." He said in an honest tone of voice now, his hands going to the back of his head.

Magali hated this. She hated being away from her country, her home. She hated how she was away from the palace and her grandparents. But most of all, she hated being away from her mother. It was going to kill her for the next four years. Magali's only thing that kept her steady at the moment was Tristan. He was the only thing that kept her grounded while being in a foreign country. He was France to her. Of course all would change as soon as Magali adjusted to China and found actual friends. Then everything would be well but she would always miss home.
After making a complete fool of herself, Magali clenched the translation book in her hands. She was a Princess, this wasn't supposed to happen. She wasn't supposed to make a fool of herself. Magali knew that any moment Tristan would walk in and see her state. He would try to calm her down, take her back to the dorm and let her cry her eyes out. But Magali didn't want that, no she didn't need it at this moment. With her translation book nearly smashed, Jindai spoke again. She looked in the crumpled pages of the book and drew together the sentences. Magali blushed when she put it all together. He wanted her to sit by him.
Putting the book back into her pocket, she walked over slowly toward Jindai and sat about a foot and a half away from him. Magali seemed to be holding her breath, her face pink. Finally Jindai admitted that he spoke English. It was happiness to her ears. Finally she could have a conversation with him without looking like an idiot even more. She gave a soft grin and nodded. With a soft voice, she said in English, “I'm fine. And I have all the reasons to be nervous. I'm new here... to the school and China,” Magali paused and felt her princess side coming out. She shook it off and continued, “I'm from France. My mother and grandparents forced me here.”
Magali looked away from Jindai and pouted, “I am relaxed. Can't you tell?” Her eyebrow arched at his saying and she looked back at him with a smug look on her face. Magali nodded slowly and said, “Right... you don't judge. Everyone judges everyone. It's human nature. I've learned that the hard way.” Soon she felt vibrations of footsteps come up the stairs. She knew it was Tristan and sure enough he came through the door and grinned and said in English, “Princess! Lunch! Magali's eyes grew wide and she jumped up. She charged Tristan and put her hand on his mouth. Then she spoke in French, “Idiot! I told you not to call me that in front of others!” Magali moved her hand and Tristan whispered, “But we are...” He looked over to Jindai and raised his an eyebrow, “Apparently not. Princess are you making a friend?” Magali pouted and took the lunch away from him, “Maybe.” She walked away and sat back down next to Jindai again and pouted, not looking to either man.

He watched the clouds as she talked more and said she was new, he easily knew that as she was younger then he was apparently, had much more of a lighter tone of voice, and was pretty short. "Your in my grade, and your younger then me, I can tell by your figure size, if you aren't stunned in growth, voice tone, you just turned fourteen and your nervous demeanor because you just got into high school, am I right?" He said with a chuckle and then a grin, he didn't care if he was right or wrong as he wasn't perfect on any accounts.
"I see, so you are from France, an exchange student perhaps?" He said summing up her friend that just came by and went down stairs, hearing some of the conversation, though he was older than she, his clothing seemed more professional then most clothes and so he used clairvoyance to seemingly peace together that he was either a close-friend or someone who worked for her, making her very rich. He opened one eye as he watched her, looking to her clothing and then her eyes as she talked. "Hm..."
He watched as the footsteps came, the same person that he had saw beforehand, and looked towards his possessions and what he was wearing taking in the attention to detail. 'I don't know much about french but I'm learning... he said princess so she maybe royalty or a stage name.' his head went back to the clouds as he listened to them argue, hearing her run over, he knew that this was a classic case, she was either an idol or some form of loyalty, the case was solved before lunch was over. 'I'll ask her, her name...'
"So what's your name?" He said with a normal tone of voice, staring at the clouds.

Magali was right not to trust people so quickly. If she did she would be in much pain at the moment with Jindai. But still, she didn't know what to think about him. One moment sweet the other moment she was repulsed. She turned her head and looked at Jindai with a shocked look. Like he would now that's how she looked because he's eyes seemed to always be closed. She didn't know what to think of him. Her mouth went into several motions and finally settled at an open mouth. But then Magali pouted, crossed her arms and looked away. She wanted to go find Tristan and tell him not to let this boy near her... ever. “It's amazing that you can get so much in just one look. Ever since we started talking you haven't opened your eyes much.”
She continued to pout and said to the rest of his question, “You have no right to judge me. You don't even know me. I have a nervous demeanor not because of high school but because of how I was raised. That is pointless and idiotic to be nervous about high school. It is nothing to be worried about. It's just like the rest of the grades you have ever been in,” Magali looked to him like it mattered, “You have no right to analyze me. It is rude, coarse and improper.” She knew that this relationship, whatever it was to become, was going to be a love/hate one. At this moment she wished for Tristan to come back. She needed him. He was her first friend for he had been with her since she was three. He is six years older, making him 21 at the present time.
Magali answered shortly, “Yes.” Of course she was an exchange student, why else would she be here in China rather than France, her home? Soon her wishes were answered, Tristan came to her rescue but she put up a pouting image for her close friend and butler. He knew that she was angry and had to get her out soon. But now wasn't the right time. Magali looked to her food as she sat down again. Tristan came and stood next to Magali and watched Jindai simply. Magali broke her chopsticks and opened her lunch. She began to eat for she was very hungry. After taking several bites, Tristan gave her a napkin and she wiped off her mouth and face. Magali then looked to Jindai, whom was still in his same position, and answered, “Magali Chevalier.” She looked up to Tristan and he seemed to be glaring at Jindai. Magali hit him on the leg and he got the message and looked away. She then looked to Jindai and asked, “You?” ((OCC: This is Tristan. And he dresses like that everyday no matter way. It's his butler code to dress like that.))

He listened to her and sighed, as he nodded. "I'm sorry if I disrespected you in any way, I can see with my eyes closed, I've been doing it since I've been younger, I take in a sight then visualize it in my head." He watched her as she got madder towards him, and he only scratched his head as he nodded once more. "I see..."
"I'm not judging you, I'm sorry you took it that way, theirs nothing I can do about that now, but say sorry." He then sat up as he watched her and listened more so as she talked more, he was getting chewed out for what he had said though didn't know what he had said as well as she did. He then whispered to himself in Chinese, and scratched his arm, looking towards the fence, with a grin. "OK, I shall remember that in the future."
He began to sum up all things within his head calculating the two answers and then making one assumption as he listened, looked towards her once again. He listened more as she said her name, and nodded. "Great name..." He said, with a gesture of his hand to his pack to the side of him, he began to eat an apple, as his eyes went towards hers and smile came on his lips. "Princess Magali Chevalier, next to the throne in France, am I correct?" He said still eating his apple staring out to the clouds with a calm demeanor.
"Want to know how I know this/" He said as he continued to bite the apple as he talked, enjoying the juices that overflowed in his lips.

Magali was sincerely pissed off with boy. She thought at first she could be friends with him but in her way of vision it seemed like that was all gone. But suddenly another thought ran through her head, maybe it was her and not Jindai. Maybe it was her own fault for getting pissed off over nothing and making a huge a deal of it. Magali sighed to herself and thought, 'Great this is all my fault. I know it is. I don't think I'll ever get a friend in this place.' Magali was depressed now. And Tristan could see it all over her face. He wanted to get her out but he couldn't until Magali said so otherwise.
The princess turned her face to look at Jindai while he spoke. It was the least she could do. She nodded in response at the right times and looked away from him several more times. Magali was steamed and her frustration was coming out on Jindai. She began to feel really bad but soon that would go away because she would talk things out with Tristan. Her eyes widened as Jindai put out her status in front of her. Her mouth gaped open and she looked to Tristan, who's eyes got wider too. She looked back to Jindai and gave Tristan her lunch. She was soon asked how he knew all this. Magali had a thought.
"I think it's simple. Tabloids get around the world quickly along with news media on the television," Magali paused but continued, "And also you look like a boy that reads a lot." Then Magali realized how he perhaps got it all together, "Not to mention that I perhaps gave you many clues. The way I acted, Tristan here and then my name to give it off." She looked to Tristan and he nodded in response. Magali looked back to Jindai and asked, "Please keep this secret. I don't want people to find out right off the bat when I walk into my first class. If they find out on their own then fine. So be it. Just please don't tell anyone right now." Magali's eyes spoke for themselves, sad and pleading.

"I would never tell your secret, that's your sand yours alone as it wouldn't be right at all to tell your secret even if you say I can." His foot tapped the ground. "I hate tabloids, I find my truths by reading documentation and lay my days as things of truth and look beyond the usual world of which we live... that is how I came to be known of your identity."
He slowly moved forth and began to stand up watching her and looking towards her butler smiling. "What you should do, since most people, though not as quick to see through guises as me, will figure it out eventually if you don't do something about your guards clothing, and the fact that he follows you around may also make people know..." He began to eat another apple he had in his other pocket. "Although, their are people as smart as me, on the same level, they may not be as honest and honorable as I, so be extremely careful."
He walked to the fence and watched with a lazy look in his eyes smiling towards the horizon. "I'd gladly be your friend here though, if you want, and protect you with this information, even make a new persona when someone asks who you are." He said smiling.
