Shou doesn’t like to reveal himself to those he can’t predict or understand. So to those he doesn’t know he has a very stand offish attitude. Which is a very old emotional defense, but he maintains it until he feels he knows someone. While he is getting to know someone he is very silent and observes as much about their character as possible. Shou is very kind once he feels good around a certain person. He loves to joke around with people in general.
Shou has a great loyalty to his friends. So much so that it is like, once friends with Shou you’re family. He’ll go to great lengths to ensure your safety and make sure that you’re happy. Tends to become over protective to those he thinks need his protection. Shou pride himself on the ability to assimilate into many environments and change his personality accordingly. So in a seconds notice he can become that which he hates. The dreaded party boy.
It was said to him by his only brother Ichiro, that Shou’s true self is revealed when fighting. Shou has a smirk attached to each fight, loving the rush the sport gives him.

History:
Shou was a home birth; no complications arose during his birth or his mother pregnancy. Unlike his brother before him, he was not spoiled by his father. Takeshi was convinced that his eldest son was his best in everything. Shou for a long time only had his mother, until she became pregnant with his sister. Shou felt as though he had been abandoned by his parents. His father always with Ichiro, and his mother to busy to care for both him and his sister equally.
Takeshi was supposed to care for the sons since Michiko was busy with the newborn and most needy of the children. Saika was exceptionally needy as a baby and growing older, and being a girl her mother gave her the affection. Shou could only gather attention by fighting. Constantly the young man had to fight kids his age and older because of his brother Ichiro. Ichiro was judo champion at a young age, and not shy to let everyone know how amazing his skills were. So instead of challenging a champion fighter the bullies turned themselves to little Shou.
Lacking the training provided for Ichiro, Shou ended up beat up a lot. Until he reached age 13, an incredible growth spurt hit him hard. It seemed everything came into alignment for him; his natural talent began to shine through. With Ichiro out of the house now, Takeshi turned his attention to Shou. Such was useless at the time; he’d begun hanging out with a less than respectable crowd. Over the years he’d learned his own style of fighting. In disrespect to his father he began Judo lessons with his father’s competitor. Rising through quickly he was known as a champion without having to enter a tournament.
At 15 after having mastered a great deal of Judo he went to find a more striking oriented style. He found it in Kick Boxing; through school he seemed to only get sub par marks due to his intense trainings. Like his brother he was held as a bright young man, yet he was the only one in the family who had terrible grades. After turning 16 he begun to change his ways, focusing much more on school than fighting. He has been working on getting a deal together and become an MMA fighter. Since his skills are so refined it wouldn’t hurt to concentrate on schooling for the last few years. While getting to know the people whom actually attend his school.
Most of his life consisted of hanging out with friends who have a bit of a reputation and fighting.
