Ming is the type of girl that if she wants to go after something, she does it and mostly she succeeds at her goal. In that case it would make her ambitious, or greedy, or just right down selfish, but coming from a family built around power and gaining it all cost, an apple could never fall to far from the tree. Ming is just a reflection of her family's socially royal power in China, she is always the center of attention and people usually are jealous. Ming isn't one to stand for other's to walk over her, and coming from her family most wouldn't want to try unless never wanting to be seen again. Ming is of course the snobby spoiled girl among her classmates, and in some ways she is also know as the "slut" but that's only in secret, no one would dare say that to her face, it's only because she has had been with tons of guys, but in reality she hasn't slept with the half of them, perhaps only three, but people would only believe whatever they want and deny truth until they are burried in their grave. Ming is one that is determined, she is very competitive when it comes to a challenge that is being presented at her, she'll take it on diving head first.
Ming is the athletic type, of course she has to keep to a certain diet for her trainer, but she still loves to eat spicy foods and things of that nature occassionally when she is allowed to. She loves to have fun when she has the time, she parties when there is one that is interesting, but she also doesn't let her school work ever fall down on her list of prorities. She happens to have a tutor sometimes during the school year if she is away on leave for some competition that she can't possibly miss. Ming is a busy girl and it's hard for anyone to keep her in one spot, she hates being around anti-social people because she loves talking, being social with others is what she lives for. She loves being in the spot light and being "known". Ming is not one that really is up for physical fighting or just arguing, but of course it happens, she just tries to avoid it with the best of her ability, haters are always lurking around in the school hallways. Ming doesn't like fake friends, but of course she has many, but the ones she it truly honest and open with are the loyal and trusting friends that she has had since like forever. Ming isn't always the bitch, but she can be when first meeting her or just getting on her wrong side, yes she has a high self-esteem of herself and in many ways that makes her arrogant, just like her step father.
Ming has a deeper side to her though, one that is true to herself and what kind of girl she really is aside from how everyone views her, she is unique and random, she doesn't like to follow everyone else she wants to set her own standards. She loves just being able to be active and social and just being around people, she is likable person once able to get to know her even with her snobby side, she comicable and creative, loving to try new things and experience everything the world has to offer, she loves her family and her real friends to death and would do anything for them, there is nothing in the world that really could replace them. She is kind when she can be and she is emotional and caring when she has to be, but she is also stubborn and wishful minded, always wanting to be the best and never to accept failure in anything that she does, she just gets up and try again.
History:
Wu Yu Tong came from a wealthy family in china, there she was somewhat knowns as a "princess" type figure because of her popularity at the time everyone knew about her, even people from within other countries, Japan being one. Her family was into stocks and many other businesses as well as opening companies and investing their money into other rich family businesses, they made a name for themselves across the country, and usually within such families they only expect their children to carry on with their family's legacy. For their daughter Wu Yu Tong they wanted her to marry a man from another wealthy family, they didn't want to give her any choice in who she wished to marry instead arranged marriages was more of the trend they followed. Wu Yu was close with her mother, Yu Yi An, but the woman still didn't side with her about allowing her to marry whoever she wished, it was Tong family tradition, they usually arranged marriages for the women and the men were candidates for other rich women from other families to be arranged with.
So Wu Yu was arranged to marry this man from china that their family was very well close with his family and it just appeared to be a perfect fit for the two. But Wu Yu wasn't so convinced, she couldn't marry without love, what was marriage about now days? Just money and power? That is what is seemed like, but truly she could see her voice wasn't heard, just the desires of her parents mattered. So Wu Yu decided to run away from China for a while, as a way to say "Listen to me or lose me your daughter" and it quickly enough got the attention of her family and everyone around them, people were questioning them, and her family didn't like her trying to bring down their well known reputation. So with anger but wanting to resolve they agreed to let Wu Yu chose her husband, as long as if he was still a well respected man in China preferably. But when Wu Yu did return that month later, she had something very important and shattering to tell them. She was pregnant, and the father was a man from Japan, the country she had ran off to. Her parents were of course outraged and right away they wanted her to get rid of the child, but of course Wu Yu would never agree to such a thing, she was much too against abortion or any of those other methods that were to be considered. Wu Yu knew her parents would only press the issue further, but she knew there was only one thing to settle this with them, if she agreed to marry a man of their choosing and promising to keep it a secret that her baby true father is really a normal citizen of Japan.
With time and trial and error they found the perfect man who promised to accept the baby as his own and go along with the cover up, but he actually seemed to be more interested in the care of Wu Yu than in the much power he would gain from marrying into such a family. Of course things like that is still considered anyhow. Wu Yu actually liked the man they had chose for her, his name was Enlai Liang, he was handsome and of course wealthy himself but also a charming guy who believed in having "true love" as well, even if both their families arranged the marriage for them, they actually fell in love during the time period. When Ming was finally born it was of course still held as a celebration in their family, they completely made themselves naive to the fact that her real father wasn't Enlai, and as far as everyone else was concern he was. Even to Wu Yu, Enlai was the perfect husband and father, she didn't care to ever worry about the man in Japan ever again. But of course such secrets can't stay hidden forever, people tend to wonder and dig deep into family held secrets. It wasn't long after a year or so that Itachi, the man from Japan, showed up in China claiming he wanted to see his daughter knowing that it was his from the moment he saw her picture in a magazine. Wu Yu and her family of course at first denied him and ordered of his removal, but Wu Yu knew that it wasn't right to keep Itachi from ever being able to see his daughter, so she decided to let him see her in secret.
The secret meetings remained a secret for about a year and three months, but like with every other secret they become uncovered eventually. Enlai finally figured out where Wu Yu was going after sending someone to follow her and from that they found she was allowing Itachi see his daughter. Again anger was not shy, they were greatly angered with Wu Yu for wanting to let Itachi into Ming's life, but it wasn't just that, Itachi wasn't even a legal citizen of China, he was staying there in hiding just to be with his daughter, things were turning out really bad for their reputation. Eventually they had to clean up the mess that was made, by allowing custody rights to Itachi and allowing her to visit him in Japan during the summer and some holidays, it became official through court and of course Itachi was sent back to his country. The family's reputation wasn't ruined completely, just lowered a slight bit but it didn't stay like that for to long. Itachi gave his daughter an Japanese name when she came to visit him in Japan for the first time, and by law there she became known as Sora Uchiha, but in China she was still Ming Xiao Tong, the daughter of a seemingly socially "royal" family in china.
Ming didn't mind being raised by the two of them when she was younger, but of course the two parents fought over what Ming should do and what school she should go to when she started school, Wu Yu wanted the best, but Itachi wanted Ming to go to school there in Japan at least for a few years so he could be with her, then the years after that go to a school in China. Wu Yu just wouldn't allow it one bit, so Ming ended up just going to a really prestigious school in China, and still only visiting Japan when she had break. Ming was indeed spoiled by her two parents, and she always got the best of whatever she went after. She went into Gymnastics at a young age because Wu Yu saw it as a place for her to be "great" in, she eventually because a professional Gymnast with a sponsor and she performs in national competitions seasonly, taking home many awards when she does win. Her father, Itachi was always a swimmer, it was what he excelled in at athletics in his school, so from that Ming became also a swimmer in the school's swim team and she was actually pretty great at it, not to add she was already fit from Gymnastics to make the team with flying colors.
Ming revolved herself around a lot of clubs and the professional world making herself well known just like her family was. She only competed in Gymnastic competitions during the summer and winter breaks, she usually stays with her father around that time as well. The two of them are close, yet he can see what the "high class" life has an effect on a child, she was a spoiled rotten snobby girl, but he still loved her anyways, she was his Sora, the sweet little girl he knew when she was younger, and in some ways she was still that same little girl, just much older and mature.
