The atmosphere, as calm as ever towards the new kid, his sensitive hair flowing with the ongoing winds and breaths of air that blew from the clouds, a simple smile on his face as he relaxed. He placed a hand to the side of his body and felt the wind blow into it grinning. "High altitude means more air, so I like it up here, I'm gonna start eating here from now on." He whispered yawning as his arms and hands went behind his head.
The wind continued to blow as more and more gusts came, the boy was content with such that he only smiled. "This has to be what haven will be like for me, content with the blowing wind over my body, the sun arisen as if pushed upward, that's the life for me..." He leaned back further sighing once more with his eyes on the leaves blowing about on the side of the roof from the high yet old trees. "It's like being spirited away on a cloud and becoming one..."
After a few minutes he had begun to sleep, his body content with its place on the roof, his face in a large smile, his eyes closed with a happy tone towards them. This was Nukumori, Jindai; this was his calm nature in check.

It was lunch period, it was mostly first years who had this lunch, but Luna didn't have a class this period so she actually had two lunches but usually she spent this time going into the administration office and working on her project with student council, but today she didn't feel like doing much of anything. She thought of playing her guitar, perhaps the music room should be her place to go but of course there was a class in session there, so she thought about the one place that was peaceful, the rooftop. Barely anyone ever went up there, at least that she knew of, she went up there many times before just to be alone and to clear her thoughts. There was a lot of things running through her mind at the moment, music usually helped her meditate along with just being alone in an peaceful environment. When school was causing her too much pressure or life at home was just to chaotic, music was usually her escape. For her music was the wings on her back, her freedom to go where ever she wanted and escape from whatever it is that might be bothering her. There was no limits with music. Grabbing her guitar she had it slung over her backside. She was dressed in her white uniform, already some students around the school decided to change over to their spring/summer uniforms. Of course the weather was still trying to force it's way out of winter, it did seem to be warming up lately, but then again the news claims snow is on it's way again. Luna loved the snow though, next to rain and gloomy days, snow is heavenly. Luna usually loves most weather, well all except extremely hot days during the summer, days like that she just couldn't quite stand. Her pale skin is sensitive to the UV rays so she usually had to carry around an umbrella, she can't get sunburned or it will cause her much more pain than the average person and sometimes she even had to be hospitalized for it. Thats why she has to wear extra sun block and carry around an umbrella. There was a reason to why she loved gloomy days aside from the comfort it brought it was just better for her health.
Luna found her way to the top of the roof, there was many ways to get up there, she had her own way of course. Once she was atop the wind hit her face and she smiled, the weather was perfect. She hadn't expected anyone else to be up here, at least she hadn't noticed anyone either, at first. She walked out and looked at the landscape, the view was amazing from up here. Everything and everyone looked so much more smaller, she could see the town of Haushi, she figured it would be busy around this time, it was lunch time. Turning around she set down her guitar case and proceeded to bend down to open it up. Another gush of wind came her direction and suddenly someone caught her attention, how could she have not seen him sitting there before. Luna stopped where she was from opening her case and she walked over toward the boy, Luna was usually a very friendly person so it wasn't strange of her to want to say hello. The boy was sitting near the entrance of another way to get on this part of the roof. Approaching him she smiled and held out her hand that wasn't holding her guitar case, "Hello...I can see your up here alone, hope you don't mind me being up here...I just wanted to play..." she gestured toward her guitar case which indeed held her guitar to point out what she meant by "play".

The boys eyes went open towards the walking figure up the stairs, her guitar slung towards her back, watching and then yawning his body began to relax once more sighing. "..." He began to try and sleep once more looking forward once more a she watched her, his face in a large friendly grin.
"Of course you can, why would I stop you, as long as you don't disturb the wind, I'm fine." He said with a honestly blank look on his lips and then crossed his legs sitting back more as he closed his eyes and sighed softly. "Either way, it's a free country, you can do what you want as long as it's in the rules..." He yawned and then began his descent into sleep once more.
His hair began to blow into the wind, once again flowing pridefully with the open gusts and the silent skies of today's beauty, he often was always happy to here people but never happy to get up or have to work, he was the king of slackers or so he was told. He breathed in, started to relax again and slept slowly lulling back into his dreamland. He placed his hands on his legs and laughed a bit, waking up. "Can't seem to sleep, oh well, I'll listen to you."

Luna smiled when the boy seemed friendly enough. She wasn't sure if he was really going to let her join him, he looked as if he wanted his peace alone and well she might be disturbing him. If she was of course she wouldn't mind leaving or at least moving over further away so she wasn't such a bother, Luna wasn't intending to bother anyone she just wanted to relax herself actually and well through relaxing she plays music, simple as that. Luna took her place, not sitting deathly close to the boy but she was near him just perhaps two feet away. She sat down crossing her legs and placing her dark ruby colored case on the ground before proceeding to unbuckle the snaps. She smiled as she slowly opened the case to reveal the white guitar that it held inside. She had another white guitar at home, but it was her electric guitar and it was more expensive than this one, actually this one was gift from her brother some many years ago while the electric guitar was the one she purchased through her own money from working. She smiled carefully grabbing it out of the case and setting it in her lap then closing the case and setting it aside. She looked at the boy again seeing he was strangely mumbling to himself about how it was free country and she could do as she wish before falling into sleep, or so it seemed that he was falling asleep. She arched an eyebrow before giggling lightly to herself, she wondered if she would wake him up by playing, she didn't want to disturb the poor soul.
Holding her guitar in her hands resting on her lap she first decided it could use a bit of tuning. She messed around with it not meaning to wake the boy but he sat up laughing anyhow claiming he couldn't sleep and would listen to her play. She smiled, she loved performing of others, unlike some that would shy away when anyone wanted to hear them play Luna was always one to be enthusiastic, even if in the past when she first started playing the guitar and wasn't all that good she still let people listen to her, she was a little girl then. Now of course she was much older and came a long way, play the guitar all her life really, she was great at it and loved to do it, it was her "life". After finishing tuning the guitar she looked at the boy and smiled politely again "What should I play?"She enjoyed taking requests from others, of course if it was a song she haven't heard before she wouldn't be able to play it.

"I don't know..." Simply said from the slacker with his arms to the sides of him, he blew a breath and then looked to her in a grin. "Play a calming tune that will be relaxing, that's all I can think of, I don't listen to much music." His hands went to his head slowly looking towards the sky with a large smile, he then laid on his side.
He began to scratch the back of his head, and watched forward now, a calming exterior and aura about him as he breathed in then out. "Do you like the wind?" The boy said in a random pose of question and answer his eyes fixed forward, he sighed once more with this. "The wind, it can come so abruptly, and relax, and then come fiercely and release its rage..." He closed his eyes now a she laid backwards, and watched the sky.
"So much time passes and we don't take time to stop and watch what we are doing, it ends so soon, and yet, it comes so quickly..." He chuckled lightly to himself sighing once again breathing deeply sniffing the air as he went onward to do so. "What makes you happy?" He asked again, his hands behind him again, his leg upwards and another straight. "Why does it make you happy?"

Luna waited for the boy to say something, she wanted to play something that not only she would enjoy but him as well. Nothing annoying or irritating, something nice and peaceful since they were both trying to feel at ease as it so seemed. He wasn't able to sleep though so already Luna felt as if she was ruining his peaceful moment, but he wanted her to play him a song so she would gladly do just that. She waited for him to give a suggestion but when he said he didn't know Luna frowned a bit. She was hoping he would give a suggestion but all he suggested was that she played something calming and Luna figured she could play many songs that were calming, perhaps just playing a tune on the guitar itself without singing was calming enough. She was surprised though when he said he didn't listen to music much, that actually made her gasp in shock. How could he not listen to music. Music was the most amazing thing ever. How could one breathe, walk the ends of the earth without having music. Music is apart of them, like the rhythm of their heart beat. Luna couldn't really wrap her head around the idea of anyone thinking music was useless, and she meant true music, not the crap that aired on some of the radio stations. Music that actually told a story and moved people, could cause people to cry, smile, or just feel safe. Music that inspires one to be better or tries to praise those who already are at their peak. To live life through the eyes of music was a true wonder. Luna was happy to be able to have the talent to play music, but of course anyone could learn how to play musical instruments, sometimes the soul itself is it's own instrument, like for Luna she can also sing.
She thought of something to play and slowly she ran her guitar pick down the strings and slowly started to play a simple tune. She smiled looking out at their surroundings again, it was such a beautiful site. She looked back to the boy when he asked her a question. "Yeah I love it actually...." Luna replied and she listened to him describe the wind in his own words. That reminded her of something, how she loved the rain, it was a peaceful part of storms that she actually could stand, but when it got to heavy or thunder abrupt it became unbearable and dangerous. Luna hated the thunder, ever since she was a little girl because of the loud sound that would strike out of no where, it was if to say the heavens were angry for some reason. Even if it was apart of nature, it was still frightening, but she loved the rain and the dark clouds or just the gloomy scenery itself, it always brought her comfort not to add it was the type of weather her skin wasn't sensitive too. He was such a peculiar young boy, he seemed to take a different look at life than most did. But Luna liked that he was different, she was different herself so it was something to be praised not looked down upon. She stopped playing her guitar when he asked her what made her happy and why it made her happy. She didn't even have to think twice about the answer in response "Music, because no matter what I can count on it to be there for me whenever I need it. It's like my wings to freedom I shall say..." Luna replied and wondered if she sounded silly to him even if she did she didn't care, it was how she felt. "What is your name by the way? My name is Luna..."

"Be proud of what you love, and never look back towards anyone about loving if music is your love, never let anyone else tell you otherwise, it is your soul and your soul alone." His head shifted with a grin on his lips. "No one should ever be able to take your spirit, because your spirit is you." His head turned back to the open plains of the sky watching as the trees shook and swayed with the winds that blew.
"My name?" He sat up as his eyes gazed to her with a warm grin. "My names Jindai, I'm a new student here at Munkun, and I'd love to be friends with you, you are unique and beautiful as well." He said his mind, never caring what others would call him, he only passed the winds and allowed them to blow the breeze catching towards the open eyes of the gentle being of Jindai. "Weren't you gonna play a song, I would love to here it, we have twenty minutes until class starts." He watched her eyes with a lazy gaze.
"Play the music, and wish that the heavens would hear the chimes, the vibrations, play to the gods themselves and allow them to praise you, Luna-san." His palms touched the ground below as he watched the sky blowing his breath into the sky. "Relax and let the music take your soul to a beautiful place of warmth and security, and allow it to love and guide you to your inner being." He said as if he were an expert, but he was smart and knew what he was saying as he felt it every time he saw the blowing of the trees and plants, the dancing of the flowers, and clouds, underneath the gentle blue sky.

It was lunch time and Sarina was having an hard time finding one of her friends. She only had a small handful of friends only being at this school for a few months now. However her small group of friends were better then being a lone that was for sure. Moving back a few strands of her brown hair she decided she would try to find where her friend Jindai was hiding. She knew he liked the wind so she decided she would try to see if he climbed up on top of the roof again. She had found him a couple of times before up there in the past and it did not hurt to go up there and see if he was hiding up there again. Today had been a long morning already at school. There were times when Sarina found school to be the most boring thing she could possibly be doing. She had not started any fights except for that one since coming to this school. It was a silly argument she had with one of the boys in her class. She was proving she was in fact just as strong as them. It was only because she caught him off guard and he had underestimated her to the reason she had a chance of beating him. There were a few who were stronger then her and she was aware of that.
Climbing up to the roof Sarina thought she heard some music being played before she reached the top. She smiled seeing that her friend was in fact there. He was laying on his back watching the sky. Sarina walked over to him placing her hands on her hips as she stared down at him. "Jin-Jin why didn't you tell me you were hiding up here?" Sarina asked as she furrowed her eye brows together. She was using the name that she sometimes called him. She only allowed herself to call him Jin-Jin. A little pet name she had gave him. She was not really giving him trouble for not telling her where he was. It was just the way she tend to talk to her friends sometimes. Sarina was not your typical kind and sweet girl who was shy around everyone. Sarina had the strong and more bold personality.
Sarina soon glanced towards the girl who was sitting there with her guitar just a few feet away from Jindai. The brown haired girl gave a slightly frown as she stared at the girl for a few seconds. Hoping over Jindai so now she was standing on his other side in between him and the girl Sarina held her head up high. "Who are you? You better not be causing trouble for Jin-Jin," Sarina warned. Another wonderful thing about her was she was always protective over her friends. This was the main reason she got into a couple of fights when she was younger when the boys would tease the girls for being girls and having cooties like they did in the young eight year olds. Sarina was always rather difficult to get along with in the beginning when you first met her. Took a little while to get around to becoming friends with Jindai even. However once she figures out if you are a not a problem she will usually calm back down again and just keep an eye the new person. Not the most trusting girl. Sarina pushed back a few strands of her brown hair in behind her ear as the wind caused a few strands of her hair to dance along with the breeze.

Luna listened to the young kid talk about music and doing what one loves and how great it is. She never really heard anyone talk like that before, at least not many, he was different that was for sure. She couldn't help but giggle though she wasn't sure if he was drifting off into his own thoughts or still listening and talking to her. She didn't care though, she continued to play her music until he replied with his name. She nodded in introductions and then paused before playing again after her hearing him say a few more words. She closed her eyes and started playing again letting the music flow from her finger tips through the guitar as the beat of her heart drummed with melody itself. She started humming out loud not singing but just humming she loved this song, it was one that she had written herself, she still didn't have an exact name for it yet and she was still working on the lyrics but she had the rhythm of the song down just the way she wanted it. The rhythm itself told it's own story. Luna eventually easily enough lost herself into the song and even begun singing lightly the lyrics that she did have down so far, she almost forgot that Jindai was there and it wasn't until she heard someone calling his name did she snap out of it and open her eyes. She smiled seeing it was another first year, wow she was surrounded by underclassmen. That was a funny thought.
Placing her guitar back into it's case she placed the snaps back down securing it inside. She looked over to the girl as she directed her question at her, she seemed to think Luna was a threat when really she was just wanting some fresh air and met a friendly face on the way. Luna laughed nervously and rubbed the back of her neck and squinting her eyes almost closed she replied with "Ehhhhh!!! No, no I am just being friendly and saying hello....I came to play my guitar but he was up here so I joined him...nothing more..." Luna then sighed in relief as the invisible weight of pressure was finally released off her shoulders, at least she hoped. "My name is Luna Nexus..." She offered her hand as a way of polite introduction with the girl, she hoped the girl wasn't too grouchy to shake hands, she seemed upset to see Luna around, for some reason that was happening often lately. Luna just hoped she could get the girl to take her nicely and that she really wasn't trying to intrude or be a bother to anyone.

"Sarina-chan, stop being so uptight, don't worry I was listening to her music, shes pretty good, she was giving me a clear head..." He yawned as his lips began to slowly slip over with his tongue. "Just found out today that I could go up here and eat, so I decided to come relax..." He stretched and scratched the back of his head sighing. "You don't have to baby me, I'm a big boy, Sarina-chan."
He watched her and sat upwards, hm, you are so kind to me Sarina-chan, either way Luna-san keeps me occupied, I hope that she would come up here everyday so I could listen to her brilliant music, could you Luna-chan, I'd loving hearing such beautiful melodies from the heart." He sighed happily, quality and heart are more important then profit and material, because music from the heart of a person will always be beautiful."
He watched Sarina, and smiled. "Stay and listen to her, we have seventeen minutes before we have to go, might as well eat up here, right Luna-chan?" He watched the moon with a small smile on his face, his eyes closed as he had done so, as if staring into her soul.

Sarina watched the other girl rather carefully. She was not sure if she was someone who could be trusted and was making sure she was not causing trouble for her friend. The soft breeze that was found up on top of the roof here was playing with a few strands of Sarina's long brown hair. The girl then quickly explained that she was simply playing music up here and keeping Jindai company and nothing more before introducing herself as Luna. Sarina starred down at Luna's offered hand before she heard Jindai telling her just to calm down and confirming the thing about Luna just playing music while hanging around up here on top of the roof of the school. Sarina soon reached out with her hand taking hold of Luna's offered hand. "Sarina Kikushi," Sarina simply stated her name. Confident that Luna was simply innocently here playing music Sarina moved back to Jindai's other side. She sighed lightly as she glanced to Jindai. "I don't mean to baby you Jin-Jin. I simply just watch out for you," Sarina explained.
"Jin-Jin I'm your friend of course I am going to be kind to you for I care about you," Sarina said with a light smile. Jindai soon started to speak about how beautiful music was from the heart before asking if Luna could play some more. Sarina had glanced down towards the school grounds. She was use to Jindai having this outlook on things. She had become friends with him almost right away. She thought he was strange but he was a joy to be around and now the two of them stand as friends with one another. Sarina had then taken it upon herself to watch over Jindai. Make sure no one tried to make fun of him for his unique outlook on things. More often then not Sarina found she did not see things the way that Jindai did and he shed some light on a new way to look at the same thing. He was always and interesting person to talk to.
"Huh?" Sarina asked as she glanced back towards Jindai hearing a question directed towards her. When her mind clued in that Jindai had asked her to stay up here for the remainder of the time they had before they had to head off to class. "Oh yes I will stay up here," Sarina said as she smiled. She glanced towards Luna giving her one of her smiles as well. "Play some more if you would like... Jin-Jin seems to like it," Sarina stated. She had taken notice that the guitar was back in its case at the moment. Sarina was not sure if Luna was finished playing or not. Sarina soon sat down sitting carefully because she was in a skirt because of the school uniform. She placed her hands in her lap as she glanced around. She soon sighed lightly to herself before she laid down on her back to watch the sky. She did not want to think about the idea of heading back to class at the moment. She was tired of school today but they would have to return to the classes at the end of the lunch break.

Luna smiled when the girl finally warmed up a bit to her and shook her hand in polite gesture of introductions. Luna never liked being on the wrong foot with anyone, it wasn't in her nature to ever want to hurt anyone or make anyone feel that they couldn't trust her, because they always could. She had always been one that wanted to help others and sacrifice herself for those who needed help. She didn't mind holding that quivering hand or wiping away that lonely tear, she was always going to be around, if you were her friend she wouldn't leave your side or abandon you, there was more to Luna than just playing music, her life itself revolves around helping others feel at ease or take away problems that seem to be at issue, she stands up for what she believes in, defends those who are weak, speak for those who don't have their own voice and then try to boost the confidence in those who feel they have nothing more to give to the world. Luna was chosen as vice president of student council by her peers, but even if she always felt such a position was further worthy for someone else, she always made sure to do the best she could. But of course it was a secret among the student body of who exactly was apart of the student council, a secret group that is working in the shadows to help the students enjoy the full extent of what they can from the school.
Luna just sat there in silence as Sarina and Jindai became acquainted once more, it seemed they been knowing each other for a while and Luna assumed they must be in the same grade level, Luna didn't even have to ask to know that they were first formers, she just figured that they were in that class, aside from the fact it's first year lunch block so it would make sense to why they weren't in class. Luna just happened to not have a class during this block, so she was free to roam as she pleased, but usually she went into the admin's office and just carried out tasks for the headmaster or secretary. Luna knew it wouldn't be long before lunch break was over, then she had to head off to drama class, one of her most anticipated blocks in her entire class schedule. She had been preparing for her part in the play for the last few days, she still felt scared playing the lead part in a play, but she was honored her classmates thought she would fit the character the most. Luna looked to Jindai as he suggested she should play her guitar again, she laughed and shrugged her shoulders. She taking her guitar back out again she decided she would play a short solo. Thinking shortly she started drumming her fingers down the guitar and sooner than expected the song came to her from the deepest recess of her mind, she begun singing lightly, the song actually didn't have words when she first made it but then somewhere alone she made lyrics to go with it.

The listening of the winds and the music made hm happily sway his head left and right with a large grin on his face, his hands clenched as he sighed loudly yet happily. "I love this place, it's so comfortable and I love the way it sounds, the beauty, the world around us, we make it what it seems to be, because that's what we make it, Sarina-chan, Luna-san, and I, we all make our own dreams and destinies."
He hummed to himself with the tune of her music, enjoying the sounds coming from his own mind as he heard the tones with the wind, he closed his eyes. "You should call that sound, Soul of the Spirit, the beautiful chords mix with the whispers of the tides of water, earth and the soul of the person making it..." He sighed once more and opened his eyes. "Positively inclined to enrich ones own mind and soul with the body and spirit of such as to release the stress..." He began to talk to himself once more, he fell backwards.
"How can such beauty come from ones own mind?" He started once more, whispering to himself again. "No end to such beauty I hope, their never will be."

Sarina was watching the sky when she heard the music starting to play again. She listened carefully to the music that Luna had started to play. She was one who did listen to a lot of different music. Something she had always enjoyed listening to however she did not have talent when it came to playing with musical instruments so she would not try to play anything. She did not need to make a fool out of herself. One thing with Sarina is she does not like to make a fool out of herself. She would prefer not having that happen. She was someone who can get embarrassed easily if she makes a fool out of herself. Sarina smiled lightly enjoying Luna play as well as she did. Something she did not expect from the guitar girl. Sarina had sat up again as she glanced towards Luna. She watched as the girl's fingers moved across the guitar strings. Yep for sure not something Sarina knew she would have talent at.
Sarina glanced towards Luna giving a light smile towards the girl as she played. She really did like how Luna could play so nicely and in front of two people who she did not know before today. Well Sarina was not sure if she knew Jindai or not but she did not know Sarina before today that was for sure. Sarina smiled hearing Jindai start to speak about the beauty in things again. When he laid back down Sarina leaned over so her face was in his few of the sky. "You find the beauty in everything Jin-Jin. Sometimes I don't know how you do it," Sarina told him. That was one of the things special about Jindai. He tend to look at things in a nice way instead of a negative way all the time. Something Sarina did not share herself. She did not look in a positive way all the time. Part of the reason why that made Jindai special.
Sarina sat back as she took her hair in her hands moving all of it so it was hanging over her left shoulder. She was tired of the breeze playing with the strands of her had so it fell into her face a little bit. "How long did it take you to learn to play like that?" Sarina asked Luna. A little small effort to speaking to the girl. It was a sign Sarina was warming up to the girl even if it was just a little bit. Sarina had never been one who was really someone who warmed up to people very easily. However she liked the music and she was being just a little bit curious.

Luna continued to play until she felt that the song should end, really there hadn't been an ending point on the song, something that she was still working on. Some of her songs didn't really have an ending place, they just continued to play until the track ended. Luna could hear that Jindai was speaking of beauty in music and in nature and in just life it self, he was somewhat of a poetic person, different than most kids his age that was for sure. She never met anyone who always seemed to reflect on their surroundings and how it blesses them. It was always something to stop and think about, but most people didn't, they lived life not having a care in the world, just being blind Luna figured. When she was finished she placed her guitar back in it's case again and she smiled looked at Jindai and Sarina, they looked cute together as friends and perhaps even more but Luna wouldn't be one to step into relationship advice, god knows she isn't having a breeze herself in that part of her life. Luna shook her head at the thought of that and just smiled again hiding what it was that was bothering her behind her smile. She never really let anyone see when something was bothering her, she always played off that happy outgoing girl that was living life being always optimistic which wasn't a lie because she was that type of girl but she was still hiding issues that she was afraid to face.
Luna looked up again when Sarina asked her a question about how long she has been playing. Luna smiled and giggled rubbing the back of her neck with her hand as a small blush appeared across her cheeks "Well I've been playing since forever...I can play many instruments though not just one, my next biggest one that I great at is the piano. Something my father always plays but he just does it as a hobby while I am doing it for my band and hopes of being signed on with a record label for my music" Luna explained and she then looked down again as the blush over her cheeks faded away. She always got really excited when talking about her music but that reminded her of something she had to explain to her parents, she knew they would only get mad. They thought her dreams of wanting to be a singer was somewhat far fetched, even if they have heard her play before and saw how talented she is they rather her be in the same business they are, why wouldn't they just let her grow on her own? Luna sighed her parents were naive and selfish sometimes but she won't let them stop her from going after she really wants. After seeing a friend of hers finally reach his debuting it inspired her to finally send in her demo tape to a recording label, she hasn't heard back from them yet but she still has her fingers cross they they will give her a call. Playing with the strand of her hair she questioned them about their interests "Um...well do either of you play an instrument or how about just art itself...I love all types of art...including liberal art not just visual." Luna smiled.
