Not much as changed since the conflict with Avatar Aang and the Fire Lord. Everyone has long forgotten the raged battle, and all that exists left of it is written in old scrolls. Although three centuries may have passed, technology is at a standstill with only minor improvements from the previous versions, and houses have become more stable. All that is significantly different would be that benders of all types have become accepted..
