The first thing you must know about Amy is that she isn't the most patient person in the world. In fact, if there was a raking on the subject, she'd most likely be placed very close to the end of the list. Yup, she lacks the patience for most things, and she has a very bad temper, which usually makes her snap at most people over nearly nothing.
But of course, not all is bad in Amy. A good thing, is that she is a very kind and nurturing person, and can’t stand seeing people hurt or suffering, so she is always willing to help who needs, and stand up for her beliefs. That’s probably one of her main weaknesses; she can’t pull herself apart from her feelings. She’s often ruled by her emotions, letting them get in the way of everything.
Since she lost her parents when she was young, she’s learnt how to take care of herself and of her little brother, so she became very independent, so it’s not likely to see the helper asking for help. However, instead of turning her into a depressed person, Ellie maintained a great deal of her cheerfulness, mostly because of her brother, even though she’s actually hiding the pain.
She is incredibly smart but she also has a wild imagination which often leads her to exaggerate and just make a huge deal over nothing, coming up with the craziest stories for a simple thing. Nevertheless, when she’s pulled back into reality, she manages to keep an objective view of things. She is very impulsive and often does things without thinking, cursing herself for it when it all goes wrong. That tends to get her into trouble, or, according to her, draw trouble towards her.
History:
It all started about twenty five years ago when Jonathan met Amelia. I could make a thorough explanation about their life before their marriage, but I'll make it as simple as possible. Amelia's parents did not approve of her love with that man, much less of her marriage. But after four years of living a forbidden love, they ended up getting married. Two years later (eighteen years ago), their first child was born. The gave her the name of Amy, Amy Zoe Aether.
Since an early age, Amy was put trough a lot. Seeing as her grandparents did not approve of her parents marriage, they sought that she had a strict education, wanting her to be this 'perfect little girl'. However, Amy was much to free spirited to pull off that kind of stunt, so she was kind of the disappointment of the family, sort of like her mother before her. And she hadn't even reached her teens.
By the time she was ten, her younger brother was born. Even though she felt a little jealous about him being around, since he was now the centre of the attentions, she still cared deeply about him, to the point she would sneak out of her bedroom at night in order to check on him. So at this point, you must be assuming they were a happy family, and you were right, they were.
Until everything came down. Amy was twelve then, when it all happened. She still doesn't know how it happened for she wasn't there. Apparently, her parents had been involved in a car crash, and both died. And you think this was the worst part? Well, it was pretty bad loosing her parents, but since their father's family was dead, they had to go and live with their grandparent's from her mother's side. Which among other things meant moving to China. Crazy no? That was what Amy thought, but since she was still underage, she didn't have much to say in the matter.
See, Amy's relationship with her grandparents wasn't that great, and it even got worse when she was forced to attend Munkun academy. Since her mother's family was on the upper end of society, they wanted her to go to some private school. And she had no choice in the matter. However, as the time went by, she started to actually like the school, and become one of the top students.
