Mirai tapped her fingers again her desk while she sat in class. She was sitting in one of the desks near the window. The teacher had finished his lecture for the day and it was suppose to be work time in class. Mirai found herself watching the clock and not making any real progress in her school work today. It will just mean she will have a bit more homework later tonight. She did not care much for homework either but she knew it had to be done. Mirai sighed lightly to herself before glancing out the window. She was waiting for lunch time to start so she could at least get out of this class. It was not one of her more entertaining classes so she would be happy when she was able to get out of it. Mirai was a second year student so she was among the other second years.
It was like a wish come true when Mirai finally heard the bell ring releasing the school for lunch. About time, Mirai thought to herself as she started to pack up her things. Once her things were back in her should bag Mirai stood up from her seat putting her bag around her shoulders before walking out of the classroom finally free. After picking up her lunch from her locker she decided she would make her way to the library. She had found that the cafeteria was much more crowded so she often found her way to the library when it was lunch time. It was much easier then trying to fight the student body for an actual seat that was not the ground outside. The one problem with eating in the cafeteria. There was always never enough seats and overly crowded so everyone was in your personal space.
Upon reaching the library she smiled as she nodded her head towards the librarian. Mia was well known by the librarian on the count of there were many of times she found herself coming to the library during the lunch hour. Today was no different. The library had a rule that food was allowed in here only during the lunch hour. That was all. Upon venturing in further passing some of the shelves of books Mia stopped in her tracks. In her usual spot was someone else sitting there. She recognized him as one of her classmates. What was his name again...? the one no one really goes near him...Hikaru no... Hakaru! That's it, Mia thought to herself.
Mia soon made a decision for herself. She was going to speak with this person who had taken her seat. She did not know any real reason why most tend to keep away from him. She was sure he must have some friends. He was always quiet in class so it might just mean he is focused on his studies. Mirai could not tell for sure. She figured she would give it a go to speak with him. If he liked to escape from the cafeteria at lunch then she might have someone to speak to in the future now. Sitting a lone at times can be nice but there were times where Mia would like to speak to other people and the library lacked that a little. Mirai walked over the table he was sitting at. "Excuse me? Hello, mind if I sit here?" Mirai asked as she took a seat at the table before he could even really object or not. It was a seat that had the light from outside shine it. Mia seemed to like that kind of lighting better then using the lights in the school.

Hakaru hated school next to life, well actually life period included school therefore just saying he hated life covered everything. Which he did, he hated just about everything about it mostly because people hated him for being apart of their lives so he tended to try and stay out of it the best of his ability, sometimes he tried to get rid of himself completely but all of those attempts failed badly. He didn't want to kill himself though, after a while he decided he rather someone else kill him than himself, at least he was more worthy of being killed by the hands of another than himself. Hakaru did his best to keep away from suicidal thoughts of his own, yet they weren't that far away in his thought process they often showed up and spoke to him yet he tried to ignore them. Hakaru let out a small sigh as he grabbed what he wanted heading out from literature class he walked down the crowded hallways. It was so noisy and chaotic he couldn't hear himself think and as he reached the cafeteria he could see the source of chaos. Everyone was going nuts just to get their lunch, their lunch buddy, and then their seat, the seat part was the hardest thing to find the place filled up quicker than bees to a hive. It was amazing at how many students really did go to this academy, let alone the ones that were in his year. He didn't like lunch, well it was the one place outside of class for students to be somewhat wild and free and to most that was heaven, but to Hakaru it just seemed like a major annoyance. He preferred the classroom setting at least in there teachers had more control over the rowdy students and there was silence, silence is nice.
Hakaru headed to his lockers, bumping into some guy on the way there he didn't even bother to say excuse me instead he just glared at the guy and that did enough to get rid of him. Hakaru opened up his locker and grabbed what he wanted out of it, just his small lunch bag that contained a salad, cut up apple pieces, and a bottle of water. He didn't eat much but when he did he could eat a lot. Hakaru closed his locker door and standing there was a girl. He wondered what she wanted, but seeing from the childish grin drawn around her face she wanted to bother him. Ah great another disturbance in his day, why didn't people understand he liked his privacy? He just ignored her and headed towards outside the cafeteria but she was following him so he could see this was already becoming a problem. Before he reached the doors he stopped and turned around and she nearly walked right into him. Backing away so he could gather his space and distance back he looked at her with an annoyed expression. "What do you want?" he questioned and waited for a response. His tone was dull as if he found no interest in talking at all. She smiled wide and giggled a bit before opening her mouth to speak "All my friends, well mostly me, wanted to know if you were planning on going to the winter formal this year, last year I know one of my friends asked you out but you declined..." Hakaru could of been doing better things in his life than wasting his time listening to this girl with a chipmunk voice ask him the most useless and irrelevant question ever. He just walked around her and decided going to the library was his best choice of getting away from people as such, at least people in the library tended to keep to themselves and they whispered, it was a nice peaceful place for the most part.
He could hear the girl walking behind him and calling after him but he just drowned her out until she finally did disappear and went off to do other things, finally. Hakaru walked down the crowded hall ways until he passed through the large double doors of the school library, as soon as he entered it seemed as if the noise from the outside was completely shut off from inside here, it was a whole another world inside the library. He could see many other students were here researching on computers or reading books at a table, it was just the type of environment he wanted to be in, pure relaxed and silence. He yawned and found himself a table further away from everyone else, it was the table closest to one of the windows and the sun beams shone down giving the table some warmth. He pulled out a chair and slid down placing his belonging on the table and his book bag down on the floor. He looked around before grabbing his ipod and plugging the ear-buds into his ears, as soon as he flicked it on the blazing music buzzed in his ears and already he found himself lost into it's melodramatic notes. He grabbed out his sketch book and pencils and flipped it open to a clean page. He laid it there in from of him before pulling out his salad and setting it out in front of him also along with his bottle of water and his apple pieces. Perfect....now all I need is my inspiration.... he thought to himself and looked around but seeing no such sign of wanting to drawn anything in here. That was irritating, he decided to eat his lunch and wait for the motivation to come to him instead of him looking for it. He still had his gloves on, the gloves that were purposely cut right at the knuckles so his finger could wiggle out freely. They were a black leather and it matched his dark outfitting of his uniform. He was also wearing his many necklaces and amulets that he adored, since he couldn't quite completely alter the uniform he would add his own style to it. He didn't wear his tie that came with the uniform, and the teachers didn't seem to mind or notice.
Hakaru let out a small sigh and leaned back in his chair head banging a little to his music and pretending that he was playing the awesome guitar solo, that was all until some random girl showed up and interrupted his moment. He stared up at her for a moment not saying anything and pulling the ear-buds out of his ears so he could hear what she was saying. She was wanting to sit down, but Hakaru wanted to be alone yet before he could even respond she was sitting. He looked at the purple haired girl then looked around the room at all the empty tables before looking back at her. "I don't want to be rude, but either your blind or really stupid, there is nice tables all in this library and fair enough I had chosen this one to myself, perhaps you could move and find a place to sit else where." he waited hoping the girl would take a hint and get up and move yet it didn't seem like she was going to, and he liked the seat and didn't want to move himself. Giving up not really wanting to feel bothered he decided to just ignore her presence and placed his ear-buds back into his ears and continued eating his salad not once looking up to show any sign of wanting to communicate in which he didn't. He liked his time spent without any words needed.

Mirai instantly knew why she did not normally see many people around Hakaru. With his little response to her sitting down it was clear for the reason why no one came around him. If he had asked nicely she might have moved but with his tone and the way he spoke to her there was no chance of that happening any time soon. "I am not blind nor am I stupid," Mirai told him as she crossed her arms across her chest. She stared at him proving that she was not going anywhere any time soon. She was going to sit here and enjoy her lunch in her favorite seat in the library. "You can't claim all the chairs at a table," Mirai added. She had taken out her lunch out of her shoulder bag that was now sitting on the floor beside her chair. She soon placed an sandwich, container of pre-cut fruit, bottle of juice, and some cookies. Ginger cookies to be exact. They were Mirai's favorite for they were not too sweet and they had a great flavor to them. Something she had always come to enjoy. These were her favorite since she was small and the only cookie she requested from her mother when they were baking in the kitchen together while Mirai's father was working with the horses.
Once she had placed her lunch on the table, another sign that she was not leaving, Mirai glanced towards the young man who was suprisingly a bit on the rude side of things. She raised her eye brow noticing that he now had his ear piece back in and was currently making it clear he was not going to even notice her sitting here. Mirai sighed lightly before she decided she would pick at her lunch. She picked up her sandwich taking a bit. She tapped her foot against the ground lightly as she decided she was going to try the eating quietly thing. She had done it before with sitting in the library. It was not an unusual thing. After all in the library you actually were suppose to be quiet and whisper when you were in here. That did not seem to stop some students which the librarian was always quick to act on. She sure knew how to run her library well and was quite sharp for an older lady. Mirai soon glanced towards the book shelves. She had finished her book that she was reading and would soon need to search for another one. She liked to read before going to sleep as she laid in her bed every night. A little routine she had that was just going to stick.
Mirai soon turned her attention towards the brown haired student. The two of them were in the black school uniforms. They were not to be altered in any ways but it appears that Hakaru had found a little loop hole in that rule by adding to the appearance. The uniform was not altered in any way but he was wearing fingerless gloves and necklaces. Adjustment to his own look she would assume. Standing up Mirai changed her seat to one that was right beside him. She removed one of his ear pieces before she smiled at him. "You said you didn't want to be rude. Well you are being rude by keeping both ear pieces in when one is trying to talk to you," Mia said. She had failed with the having a quiet lunch today. She had decided she was going to speak to him regardless of what he said. If he got too annoyed she was sure he would get up and leave. Whether she would let him leave or not she was not sure yet. It will depend if that time comes. "I never see you talking to anyone and so I am forced to ask where are your friends hiding at? Its lunch time shouldn't you be eating lunch with them?" Mirai asked. She really wanted to know why he seemed so determined just to be on his own. That is not a very happy life for someone to have. Everyone needs friends in the end after all. They are what makes this roller coaster ride of life more enjoyable.
Mirai was determined to get him to talk to her. So far it seemed he failed the human interaction department on being polite. No matter Mia can get around that. With the competitions she use to be in when she was into figure skating always had those who were a bit lacking on the polite side. Nothing new to her. She had came to this school to live a more normal life and here she was not as recognized as back in her old community. Sure those who were really into the figure skating world would recognize her but other then that she just appeared as any other normal student here at Munkun Academy. "Let's start off on the right foot this time," Mia said as she held out her hand. "I'm Mirai but many just call me Mia," Mirai introduced herself. She had decided to try this meeting with another approach then asking to sit down at the table. She had set her mind to this and when she did there really was not making her stray from her goal. Even if she had to she would show him proper human interaction in hopes that he picked up on a few of those tips. It would help him better then being the soar grouch that he was being right now. Mia could not figure out exactly why he was like this. There was that attraction girls felt towards him with the looks that he had. Mia had heard a few girls speaking about him in the classrooms. Maybe if he smiled more? Mia was not sure yet but she was going to try to be his friend even if it might be a one sided friendship for a while. "Keep quiet if you want. I will just keep on talking," Mia added.

Hakaru was hoping that just by ignoring the girl she would eventually just disappear and leave him alone. He figured she would get bored or irritated since he wasn't listening to her and like everyone else just walk away, but it seemed she wasn't going anywhere. He pretend to not notice her pulling out her lunch and tapping her foot, all of these little gestures she was doing trying to absently make him look, but he wasn't going to. He was going to keep his eyes on his salad and his sketch book. He still hadn't an idea of what to draw yet his inspiration bulb was slowly turning on, all until the annoying girl came and sat right by him and yanked out his ear-bud. He looked up at her his eyes already transformed from it's normal dull expression to evil annoyance. "Excuse you!" he snapped and she rambled on about how he was rude even if he claimed to not want to be and was curious of where his friends were, yadda yadda. Hakaru just hissed lightly under his breath before grabbing his earpiece from the girl and setting holding it in his hand ready to put it back into his ear once he responded "Look just because I am sitting here alone, not talking, and possibly look lonely, I really am just sitting here wanting to concentrate and not be bothered, yet people don't seem to take that hint around here! I don't want to talk, I want to work, got it?! Or must I say that much slower so you and everyone else can pick it up." he placed the earpiece back into his ear and drummed his fingers on the table expecting that she would move away but she didn't actually he could see she was still talking.
"I don't care who you are, just get out my face your invading my personal bubble. Go flirt with some other guy who has really huge muscles and no brain, that pretty much sums up all the jocks around here...and girls like that eh." Hakaru grinned to himself at the thought of that, really people around here did like the jocks or the guys that were popular and usually from being star athletes and such, but Hakaru could care less about the guys and the girls and the whole nine yards, he just wanted his space and this girl wasn't allowing him to have his space. She was purple haired, that was different, strange but different, at least she had that going for her. Most girls around here were all the same, not just to say everyone was forced to wear the same uniform, but personality wise they were all the same. Annoying little brats, chirpy, irritating, trying to make an impression on guys just to get their attention, being sluts or too flirtatious, pretending to be nerds since some guys like that kind of thing, wearing too much make up, or just being completely bitchy and to think guys would find that attractive, a girl with a bad mouth. Hakaru just wished he could slap some of them across the face, but two things were stopping him from that, one was school policy and two was guys of course can't hit girls, in desperate times he wished for a sec he was one to do it. Hakaru placed his half eaten salad back into his sack and grabbed his water bottle taking a small sip from it before doing anything else. He could see the purple haired girl was still sitting there, no doubt she was still there, god she was persistent, that was first, most gave up after a while, he wanted to see how long she could handle it.
Pulling out his ear-buds eventually he wrapped them up and slipped his ipod back into his pocket before bringing his sketch pad closer to him. He grabbed his closet pencil and begun to draw, figuring whatever he wanted to draw would come to him all he had to do was pick up the pencil, and it did. He found himself drawing angel wings, yet one of the wings were slightly torn or "broken". He looked at his drawn picture, to him it looked like a load of crap, but to others well they had their own opinions. He sighed and closed the sketch book pushing it away from him and placing his elbows on the table and his face into his palms. The girl was still talking he assumed, did she ever shut up? If the girl was talking he wasn't listening, if she was saying anything he wouldn't hear it, no he was ignoring her, yep that's right drowning her out. He was good at the type of thing, drowning people out, he learned how to do that after having years spent with his family yelling at him or sometimes even at each other, yeah he learned to make it all disappear, it was all about mind control. Grabbing his pills out from his bag he reached for his water bottled but accidentally knocked it over and it fell into the girl's lap, good thing the cap was still tightly on it otherwise that would of been a bad accident. He looked at her, his eyes eventually having to look her over to look into her lap to where his water bottle lay, sighing he decided to reach for it, his hand going under the table and making his feel for the bottle his fingers traced her legs until he could feel the plastic container, by now he was expecting her to react, he knew it would either mean a slap to the face or yelling or both, he actually got punched once, it was all in due time that she would do something to him for being a "perv" when really he was wanting his water bottle back and he didn't want to speak to ask for it so he just decided to get it himself.

Once Mirai was sort of expecting the response he gave her when she had removed his ear pieces. The quick little snap of his voice. Most people don't like it when you disturb them as she was purposely doing at the moment. Hakaru was going to prove to be rather difficult to get through to him. Not worry she was a determined girl. It what made her a good figure skater when she was still part of that life. She had always been determined to learn the next jumps, spins, or any other move. She had ignored him and continued on asking him about his friends. "I am not those kind of people who will just leave because you have ordered it or grumpy about my presence," Mirai told him. Again with the not asking nicely that she leave. Gives her more reason just to stay here. Rudeness was not going to get him what he wanted and that was peace. It was a little lesson she was trying to teach him in her own way. Of course he was not going to listen if she straight out and told him that rudeness in this world does not get what one wants. He had put his ear piece back into his ear again. She however kept on talking. His next words caused her to raise one of her eye brows. She smiled lightly, "I am so not flirting. I plain and simple just want to make you talk. Maybe become friends at some point," Mia said. She was not flirting with him. That was the last thing on her list. Especially with the thought of her going to an jock. That was not something she wanted to go near. She could not stand the guy if all they cared about was their sport and had no brains that she clearly was the more intelligent one.
Mirai had noticed with those around the school. Many of the girls would flirt and try to impress some of the other guys. Nothing abnormal about any school of teenagers their age. It was a common thing and there was nothing else about it. Even in this school it was no different. Teenagers were going to attract one another. Hormones were running through their bodies so it was only natural that it takes that sort of course. However just because a girl speaks to a boy does not mean there is some interior motive. Of course that is what everyone will think. Another thing when going through high school. You speak to someone new who is not apart of your normal social group and they happen to be the opposite gender then your other friends will assume that something is happening between the two. Mirai was not speaking to Hakaru because she had some romantic interest in him. He was someone who she had taken notice to out of boredom. She knew not many usually speak to him at least she rarely seen people speaking to him. He always had that don't come near him atmosphere to him. Now he was even providing a challenge with not really speaking to her unless its something rude. Mirai liked challenges. When you finally reached your goal it was all that more pleasurable.
"You really are bent on ignoring me," Mirai said taking notice that he was not paying any attention to her. She crossed her arms across her chest as she watched him. He had taken a sip from his bottle before setting it down and picked up his sketchbook. She sighed lightly as she reached across the table pulling her lunch over to her new seat. She took out one of her ginger cookies taking a bite out of it. She was going to stay quiet for a little bit but she was not about to remove her presence completely away from him. She wanted to get it through to him she was not someone who was going to easily go away. She had made it her goal to be his friend and she did not give up on her goals. She glanced around the library. There were students coming in and out of the library. Some were at the computers sacrificing their lunch to try and finish up a research paper. Mirai had been in that boat a few times. She was terrible with leaving things to last minute to finish when it came to school work. Just a nasty habit of hers that many have told her she should get out of it but she never really listened. Mirai then felt something fall into her lap. She glanced down to notice that Hakaru's bottle of water had fallen into her lap. Her legs were under the table and the bottle had fallen and rolled a bit to it was under the table as well.
Mirai was about to reach under the table to get the bottle knowing where it was since she felt it in her lap. However before she could reach the bottle she felt something else brush against her leg. Hakaru's hand had moved across her leg before he was able to find the bottle. Mia did not appreciate this. Nope not at all. Her hand had quickly went around his wrist pulling his hand quickly away from her leg after he had grabbed the bottle. Mia was starring at him now with a hint of a glare in her eyes. She grind her teeth together not amused with the little touch. She quickly let go of his wrist before she slap his cheek. "You listen to me now," Mia said in a firm tone. She had stood up from her seat before taking a step towards Hakaru. "There will be no touching and no using a silly excuse as a bottle falling into my lap. If you want your bottle back I will give it back to you. Don't just go and take it and feel up my leg along the way," Mia said as her voice raised. She did not appreciate being felt up.
Mirai sighed heavily as she shook her head. This was not something she had expected. Now really who was the one trying to get near the other. Mirai quickly moved away from Hakaru but not before picking up his sketch book so that it was now in her hands. She smirked lightly to herself as she quickly walked around the table sitting on the edge of the table on the other side. She wanted some distance from the two of them. "As punishment I get your sketchbook in till the end of lunch hour," Mirai told him as she glanced over her shoulder towards him. She was not going to give him back his sketchbook in till the lunch hour was over. Even if she had to keep distance between them so he would not be able to just take it back from her.

Hakaru was expecting something to happen and of course it came eventually, the slap to the face came soon after she removed his hand with force. He was expecting it, it wasn't too bad, he had worst like actual punches to the face and such. But he knew for one thing that would come of this is bringing attention to themselves which of course after the slap to the face everyone came looking in their direction. Oh great, just what I need, people talking about this and bothering me about it as well... and he knew that was what would happen, people would walk up to him asking about the slap to the face in the library that is sure to leak out all over the school by the time this day is over. That was perfect, completely perfect. He could see the librarians were going to say something but something had stop them from doing so, they figured Hakaru must have deserved the slap to the face therefore they were going to do anything as long as he didn't don anything back to the young girl, which of course he wouldn't. Especially after the young girl explained to Hakaru that he had no right to touch her, the librarians were satisfied and went back to work yet laughing to themselves lightly and whispering with their back turned, the students in the library looked to be doing the same exact thing.
Before he could blink or say anything he noticed his sketchbook was gone and in the hands of the purple haired girl, she didn't look to be giving up so easily, she was still here. Sitting further away from him now on the edge of the table she held the sketchbook in her hands and gradually opened it up looking through it. Heard her statement about getting to keep it until the end of the lunch hour and he would not easily follow that, there was no way he was going to let her look through his sketchbook, that was private drawings, things that meant something more to him than just pencil to paper. He stood up feeling eyes still were on him from those who were watching them from afar still curious in what was going on. "Too much curiosity can get one in trouble...
[/color] Hakaru thought to himself. He slowly approached the purple haired girl but kept their distance knowing he didn't want to risk that another slap to the face would happen because how bad would that be, word going around that he got slapped twice by the same girl under less than a few minuets in between, that would be gossip horror. "Just give me back my sketchbook, I am not in the mood for games, excuse me for only wanting what is mines back, I wasn't trying to feel you up as you so put it." He was speaking in a low tone of voice so that no one around could pick up his words except Mia of course. Seeing the girl still wasn't giving back his sketchbook he decided the only fair thing to do was to take something of hers. So he walked over grabbing her shoulder bag and placing it around his shoulder so that she couldn't easily get it off. "Fine if you really want to be like that, I can do the same..." He hissed back at her in not such a friendly playful tone but as if he was seriously angry at her. He sat back down in his seat and begun to open up her bag looking through her things, he would surely think she wouldn't find that pleasing so she would probably either give in and give him back his sketchbook or she just had no choice but to watch him go through her things. By Mirai's reaction to Hakaru reaching for his water bottle that had landed in her lap had caused some attention to be drawn towards them. She did not really notice in till after she had grabbed his sketchbook and moved to another spot at the table. She was sitting on the edge of the table with the sketchbook now resting in her lap. She had opened a few pages of the sketchbook but had not really looked down at the drawing much yet. She was busy seeing how Hakaru was going to react first. Soon he had stood up from the table himself and had slowly made his way over to where she was now but still keeping that distance she had established. She just looked down at the sketchbook actually paying attention to some of the pictures. She was surprised to find that he was actually descent when it came to drawing. It was something she lacked in for talent so it was nice seeing when another excelled in something she lacked in. "Then you should have just asked for that water bottle back and this would not have happened. So no you can not have your sketchbook back," Mirai simply told him as she continued to look through the pages of his sketchbook. This was his punishment for his little stunt he had pulled and he would just have to deal with it. She was not going to just give up his sketchbook. That is not a very good punishment if she gave in because he asked for the sketchbook back. Nope Mirai was determined to make sure that he was stuck with this little punishment. Besides it then would not allow him to work as he so put it as when she was bothering him. He had stated he wanted to be left alone so he could do his work.
Mirai raised her right eyebrow when she heard him speak up again. She instantly glanced to him. She was not sure what he was up to. What did her mean by he could do the same? As she had looked up she instantly noticed that he was now wearing her shoulder bag. "Hey now," Mia quickly stated. She did not want him touching her bag. That was her and her property. She had her school book in there but also some items that were her own things. She had a few books that were about figure skating that she still looked through and see what are the new moves out there. Mirai might not be in competitions anymore she still enjoyed it. Something that was not going to leave her just because she was not in competitions anymore. She had marked up the books putting in her own notes among the pages. Not exactly something she wants others to see. Other then that it was mostly just normal things you would find in a girls bag. There was some make up for touch up like lip gloss. Mirai did not wear a whole lot of make up but she did wear some.
"I am not the one suppose to be punished here. That is you not me so give me back my bag," Mia hissed. She did not want him going through her things. Those were her things. No way was she going to let him search through her things. She quickly placed his sketchbook down on the table before standing up on her feet. She walked over to Hakaru slamming her hand down on the table. Her other hand rest on the back of his chair. "Give. me. back. my. bag. now," Mia stated. She wanted her bag back. She then grabbed both his hands with her hands to stop him from digging further through her things then he already had done. His sketchbook was still out of his own reach since she still was sticking to her punishment for him but it was not near her now since she was now standing near Hakaru trying to get him to stop digging through her bag.
The actions between the two of them had caused some on lookers from the students. After all they were creating a bit of a scene between the two of them it was bound to bring some attention to one another. Mia did not pay much mind to the looks they were getting. Truth be told she barely even noticed them. She was focused on Hakaru and getting her bag back currently. Not to mention she was use to when attention was on her from her competitions in the past. So having attention of those just watching never seemed to bother her anymore. Of course she would notice them if they say something to get her attention other then that she did not notice it very much. She most likely will hear about it later though as word between their little scene in the library is spread around the school. By the end of the day her friends would most likely come to her to say something or another.

Hakaru knew that the girl would eventually react to him taking her book bag. It was all apart of his plan, he knew that she wouldn't like him looking through her personal things one bit, so perhaps she could see why he didn't like it either even if he had typically done something wrong as usual, it didn't give her any excuse to take something as much value as his drawings were to him. So he would do as he wishes as long as she decided she could do as she wished and looked through his things. He already had the bag open, looking through it seeing there was a few notebooks and then actual texts books but then there was things like makeup and other girl items that he cared not to pay any attention to. He could see that one of the books that were in her book bag was not typically school related, but instead it was of figure skating. He was just about to pull it out and have a look when Mia came around the table slamming her hand down on the table with her hand to back of his chair, once again causing a racket and attention to be focused toward them. He knew this time the librarians wouldn't take to easy to it this time, they were now beyond their limit of how nosy or attention grabbing they can be, the librarians would do one of two things, tell them to either separate and be quiet or just remove them from the library all together. Which neither one was truly Hakaru's fault, it was this girl, this girl that was causing him all the trouble. He had simply been minding his own business all this time until she came around and made hell fall from the skies and take away his peace barrier that he had set up for himself.
Now he had his hands tied because she had forcefully pull them out of her bag and held them so he couldn't do anything else. This was becoming a nightmare by the minuet. By now he could see that all around them students had stopped what they were doing to watch them but it wasn't only that, there was new students coming into the library, students that didn't normally stop by unless they really had to, that could only mean one thing that already the word had gotten out and people were going to come by to see it for themselves. Hakaru muffled a groan in the back of his throat that no one could hear, this was perfect, this girl Mia was going to be the death of him for sure. Without another word coming from her he quickly pushed her aside and reached across the table for his sketchbook now he held to two things, his own sketchbook and Mia's book bag, it seemed to be he was now the one with all the control, except for one thing his own book bag was sitting right at Mia's feet, he knew she could easily pick it up and they would sorta be even. That was not good, he stared at her waiting to see what she would do, the purple haired girl didn't seem to let things go away so easily, she was determined to bother him to no end, not many did that. Most gave up after a while, but this girl didn't, she just kept at it.
A librarian finally came and stood in between the two of them in the huge gap of a distance they held. She didn't look happy one bit, in fact she looked as if she was ready to kick both of their butts herself. She was a much older woman, perhaps in her late 40s or early 50s, she had a few wrinkles creeping up her face and crowfeet growing out from her eyelids. She had deep blond hair that was cut short into an older woman style, she looked like a mother, or perhaps even a grandma, wearing her long skirt and button up blouse, her hands on her hip and her teeth clenched making small light hisses at the both of them. Hakaru turned to face the double doors that was his exit out of here, but it was blocked by a load of students that had made their way into the room to capture the "fight" scene for themselves. Great, he looked around wondering if there was another door out of this library, it was a pretty big size library, bigger than the average school's library he knew their had to be more than one exit, in fact one probably led outside around here.
Taking a step back he kept his eyes on the librarian and on Mia, the both of them standing in front of him, two women against one guy, that wasn't a situation most wanted to be in. "Now I have had enough of this out the both of you, whatever you two are fighting over just get over it and get on with life!" the woman growled still keeping the gap in between Hakaru and Mia occupied by her presence. The library turned toward Mia then looked back over to Hakaru with Mia's book bag, she arched an eyebrow waiting for some kind of explanation but Hakaru just stared wondering if she would eventually let them go or not. He didn't have time for mind games or staring games which ever one they were trying to do.

Mia was not amused that he was looking through her things. She wanted him to just stop going through her things. She had pulled his hands away from the items in her bag. There was more and more attention coming on them. Mia was not paying much mind to them at the moment. She barely even noticed them to be exact. She did not resist when she was pushed aside by Hakaru when he reached for his sketchbook across the table. She put her hands on her hips wanting her book bag back now that he had his sketchbook. However when he made no move she had shifted her footing slightly. That was when she noticed that his book bag was down by her feet. Soon a smirk appeared over her lips knowing she still had some leverage at least in this little thing between them. However before she really could do anything more the librarian finally showed up. Mia quickly turned her attention towards the lady. She was not looking pleased at all. Mia had pushed it too far and caused way too much attention. She had finally taken notice to it as she glanced around noticing the other students who had pooled into the library. She smiled weakly before she looked back to the librarian. She gave an apologetic look on her face not meaning to cause this much attention.
Then the librarian spoke to Mia and Hakaru having enough of their fighting. Another apologetic look appeared on Mia's face. She really did not mean for it to get that far that they had all this attention upon them. Soon the librarian only had her attention on Hakaru. Mia took this chance to quickly pick up Hakaru's bag putting it on so she would not have to carry it. She then turned towards the audience that they had caused with their little outburst. "Nothing more to see here now. We are done fighting so there is nothing else to see. Sorry to disappoint you all in no physical fight forming," Mia said as she smiled towards the crowd. Putting on an little act. Something you have to pick up when you use to do what she did. "You can carry on with your own business now. Go on nothing more interesting anymore," Mia added before she quickly walked over so she was standing beside Hakaru. Now it was time to get the librarian to back off. Students were starting to go back to their own business since the librarian stepped in and they were sure nothing more interesting will happen.
"Sorry ma'am I really did not mean to cause such a distraction. You don't have to worry we are finished with are little distractions. I'm really sorry about that," Mia said as she linked her arm with Hakaru. Another little act of hers in trying to get out of the trouble they were in. "No more problem I promise," Mia added as she pat Hakaru's arm lightly. She gave a light smile to the librarian before she turned her attention to Hakaru. She mouthed the words follow before she turned her attention back to the librarian. "We will be leaving now," Mia said. She knew another way out of the library instead of the main way. There were a few small exits that you can choose to go through. That was where Mia was heading. She wanted to end the attention that was brought upon them and she just wanted out of there. Then she was going to have to demand for her bag back in exchange for his own bag. Mia was keeping his bag in till she got her own bag back in her own hands. She did not like him going through her things and she did not want him looking at her figure skating book. She had noticed he was about to pull it out in till she had diverted his attention by slamming her hand down on the table.
Mia had chosen the outside exit and she was really hoping that Hakaru would follow. She was trusting that he would follow and want his bag back. If not she would then have to go track him down. She was standing outside where it was rather nice out. There was a light breeze that was nice against her skin. She ran an hand through her purple hair before she turned around and waited for Hakaru to come out of the library. She was not searching through his bag. That was not in top priority at the moment. She just really wanted her bag back. She liked her things staying her only in her possession. She sighed lightly as the breeze picked up again.

Hakaru had Mia's bag and he had his own sketchbook, but within Mia's reach was his own bookbag which means she could easily reach down and grab it and bring him back into the same boat she was in. Hakaru looked at the librarian seeing her glaring at him as if this was all his fault and that it really wasn't Mia who caused all the disruption in the first place, he hadn't even said a word, yet he was getting all the blame. How screwed up is that. Then suddenly Mia spoke up and the librarian had her eyes on her. Mia called off the crowd and then turned to appologized to the libarian since it was obvious that Hakaru wasn't going to. He was just staring without saying anything yet a small smirk was creeping on the form of his thin lips, yet he didn't make it noticeable to anyone. The librarian turned her eyes away from Mia for a moment just to look at Hakaru to see if he had anything to say but he only stared right back at the woman saying nothing at all, his eyes alone said everything, he could care less. While the librairan's back was turned Mia took that chance to reach for Hakaru's bag, Hakaru saw her take his bag and put it on just like he had done with hers, now they were officially in the same boat, he knew they would have to make an exchange for something in return.
Suddenly Mia came to Hakaru's side, he looked over to her with an eyebrow raised and he made sure to watch what she was doing, he felt her link her arm through his and he was just about to pull away until Mia looked over to him and mouthed the words to just follow her lead. Hakaru sighed and made a small groan in the back of his throat, this girl was going to not only be the death of him but going to change the point of his whole reputation around here, he didn't get along with people and he didn't make any effort to do so either, he was a loner, someone that kept to himself and didn't pay any mind to anyone else, but Mia was breaking that barrier, she was crossing his paths and he wouldn't take it too well. After Mia saying her goodbyes to the librarian and let her arm out from Hakaru, she led towards another exit within the library that led to the outdoors. Hakaru watched as she walked away and then looked back to the crowd that had been broken up yet there of course was still a few students staring, he just rolled his eyes and followed after Mia.
Once they were both outside, the cool wind hit their faces, his hair being blown over his eyes. He walked over to the brick wall pressing his back against the wall and leaning against staring up at the light blue sky with the sun pearing out from behind the cloud cover. Today was a seemingly nice day with nature, the perfect small cool breeze and bright sunshine, the different weird shape fluffy clouds floating around while the birds sung songs in their flight. Hakaru liked the peace that nature brought when he was away from students to distract focus from it. It was why he liked being alone, he could bring focus to things he wouldn't have noticed with the noise of another, yet of course with Mia around he couldn't do much focusing, his only focus now was getting his bag back and seeing what Mia had in mind for the exchange. Hopefully nothing too deadly, girls can never be trusted that's for sure.
Hakaru's eyes slowly made focus on Mia standing there, his eyes were peering out from behind the slits of his hair that had fallen over his face. He didn't make any sudden moves, he was clutching his sketchbook in one and the strap of Mia's bag with his other hand. "So I am going to assume your wanting your bag back, as do I, so that means were in the need of an exchange..." Hakaru said in his firm tone of voice, he waited for her to respond or make any gestures that she agreed. He let a low cough escape from his throat and he cleared his throat afterwards. He looked towards the windows, one belonging to the library and the other was a window from within a classroom, but it was dark in the room and the room was empty. He wondered what time it was and if they would be able to hear the bell ring from where they were standing on this side of the building.

The two of them were outside now. Mia had made the crowd disappear in the library. There were a few on lookers after that but they had not followed the two of them outside. Mia had then apologized to the librarian asking Hakaru to follow her lead. She did not need him making it worse by shoving her away because she had grab onto his arm earlier. However that has passed now and they were alone. Standing outside where the sun was nice against one's skin. Mia might prefer winter over all the other seasons but she did not mind the sun at all. She found it rather nice against her skin. Especially when she skates outside on one of the frozen ponds. Even on a cold day the sun makes it much more easier to be out there. Of course when she is skating outside she can't actually wear any of her figure skating outfits. Far to cold then. Mia pushed back a few strands of her purple hair in behind her ear as the breeze picked up. Her dark blue eyes focused on Hakaru. An exchange was going to be made between them.
Hakaru was the first one to say something. Mia was hanging onto his bag as if to make sure he could not just take it back easily. "Yes an exchange is needed," Mia said as she smiled lightly. She put her hands behind her back as she moved up and down on her heels and toes. She did not want a simple exchange of their bags. She knew Hakaru would just end up just making some way to get away from her. She had gotten him to speak. The one who was always on his own. Sure it was not the most nicest of things stated from him but it was better then him just completely ignoring her. Mia removed Hakaru's bag setting it down on the ground. "We will exchange bag for bag," Mia instructed him. She wanted her things back safely. So he does not look any further then he already had. She mostly just wanted her book back. It took her forever to find that book and the notes she made in them she did not want him reading. They were personal notes only for her eyes. That was what the book meant. Sort of kind of like how a girl does not want anyone reading her diary. This was the exact same thing for Mia.
"That will be it for that exchange," Mia said. Giving the clue to Hakaru that there was more to what she was going to be getting at. Mia glanced up towards the school building. There were a few dark windows for the most part. The lights obviously had been turned off when lunch had started and the teacher had left the room. Mia quite enjoyed this school. Sure she was not where her parents were but she enjoyed it here. Her gaze soon turned back to Hakaru. "Now begins the exchange of how much attention you want drawn to us," Mia said. She had noticed that he did not like the attention that was brought upon them. It was by accident when he had touched her leg. It just climbed up from there. However she knew how to draw attention as well. Which she could purposely do. Sure he might not enjoy that but maybe there was a chance that he would just try to reason with her to get her to stop with her little game. That was what Mia was counting on. "All I want is friendship from you and what you want is peace and quiet with no attention brought to you. I can simply read my book while you draw. The only reason I acted up is because a certain someone decided to claim that whole table to himself when that was the best spot in the library. You can't get better lighting then the sun streaming in through the window," Mia explained.
Mia was going to wait for Hakaru's response before she decided on what the out come was going to be. Of course if he choose to except that second exchange she will then be able to be around him without trying to purposely get his attention. Then she would be a some what more welcome guest then what she got earlier today. If he decided to disagree with the exchange she was just simply going to make it much more difficult to ignore her. Which will most likely lead to a lot more attention brought upon them. It was pretty simple for her. She had a bit of a win win situation. "Do you accept the exchanges?" Mia asked as she tilt her head slightly. She wanted to learn Hakaru's answer.

Hakaru watched Mia intently, he knew that he needed to keep his eyes on her not knowing what she might have up her sleeve, so far she has brought him out from his comfort zone into huge annoyance and irritation, she wasn't giving up on it either so he couldn't quite believe that she would easily hand over his bag in return of her own, no she was probably going to have another suggestion to come along with it. Hakaru was waiting for it to come, he knew from the look in her eyes she had something she wanted to say, he knew that look all too well, it was the look of deceit was more than just an exchange of items, it was an exchange of his soul for whatever she wanted. It reminded him of making a deal with the devil, he would exchange his soul in return of whatever promise the devil may bring, but instead Mia was this reflective demon who wanted Hakaru to do a deadly deal, one that not even the most strong held could really refuse. Lips of an angel some may say, but eyes of the devil through which no one else sees, women are evil.
Hakaru watched as she slowly placed his bag down on the ground and stepped away gesturing him to do the same. He slowly removed the strap off from around him and placed it down slowly on the ground taking a step toward his own bag cautiously with keeping his eyes on Mia. He heard her claim that was it for the exchange, but those words alone told him that meant exactly the opposite of what was intended. Hakaru quickly snatched up his bag before she could do anymore damage and he quickly tossed his sketchbook inside and secured the back around his shoulder. Keeping his feet firm on the ground in the spot he was standing her turned to look over to Mia once again, those eyes of evil staring back at him, of all the guys in the school or in this town period and she chooses him to be the one to make burden on and let hell fall down on what he once had a peaceful self indulgent soul that she was sure to want to alter with her presence.
He waited for what she was going to add, it was coming, he could see the words that were hanging right off her tongue, poisonous words, like daggers even, just waiting to aim at their target and engage. Finally the words did come, just like he expected they would. He stared at her as she brought up the 'second' exchange in which will either benefit him supposedly or just make his life a living hell, who did this girl think she was? There was no way he was ever going to let her walk all over him as if she could in anyway control him, he was a person that kept to himself, it has always been that way and shall be that way till the day his grave is dug for. He looked at her wondering what it would be, and then she finally explained the second exchange, in how he could agree to let her stick around him and be 'friends' or she can just make attention be brought to his focus even worst and make life living in sheltered silence disappear completely.
Hakaru growled deep down in his throat, she was making this difficult. His first choice was not something he would agree to at all, he just wasn't going to be friends with her, that is for sure, and second choice meant the attention something he hated more than anything else sometimes, he just didn't like it, he liked his time spent alone, completely alone. Yet there was not going to be any complete solitary anymore according to Mia he could take the 'easy' route or the hard way out. Which neither one was a path he wanted to escape to, he wished this girl could see that he didn't want her around nor anyone else for that matter. She was stubborn and rude, she couldn't respect his wanting wishes yet he expected her to respect her own. "Not much of choice I have not do I..." Hakaru stated and he ran his fingers through his thick brown hair removing the strands that had been shadowing over his eyes. "We will never be friends...no matter what you say or think, I will never be your friend...got that?" He didn't want attention he couldn't deal with that..."But you can have your side of the table...just don't bother me...that is my only wish"

When Hakaru had went for his own bag Mia had walked over towards her bag. She did not pick her bag up however. She just stood next to it making sure her foot was on standing on the strap of the bag. That was going to be the end of their first exchanges. However Mia soon made it known to Hakaru that she was not going to leave him alone. That he could simply allow her to be around him she would simply behave herself. However if he was not going to allow her near him then she simply would bring up more attention upon them which she knew he was not going to allow one bit. Hakaru was someone who wanted to be left alone. Mia had to be a fool not to pick up on that. However she did not care. She wanted to figure out more about Hakaru. He was someone who was always quiet and rare spoke to anyone from what she could see. So Mia had brought it upon herself to get him to speak. Sure she had to bring him into discomfort just to get him to speak but it was neccessary to get his attention.
Mia smiled lightly when Hakaru mentioned that he did not have much choice. She shrugged her shoulders as she watched him. She wanted to know his answer to her lastest exchange. He soon made it clear that they were never going to be friends. Turns out she needed to work really hard if she wanted to be his friend. Of course she did not give herself very good points towards being his friend with how she acted in the library. She drew a lot of attention upon them and Hakaru clearly did not like attention. Maybe with time they could be friends. Mia certainly would have to behave herself she figured if she had any chance to being his friend. "Alright I will try not to bother you. Like I said I will simply read my book and you can keep on drawing," Mia said. She had to agree to some of his terms after all. It could not be all of her terms agreed to without him throwing in a few of his own. "However I am still calling you my friend. For right now I can see that is just going to be a one sided term," Mia said with a light sigh. She was not sure yet if she was just being optimist when it came to trying to become friends with Hakaru. She would like that some day Hakaru see her as a friend. Right now that was not happening but she did hope that some day he would consider her a friend.
Mia bend her knees as she moved down to get her bag. She moved her foot up to get the strap out from under it before standing up again. She put the strap of her bag around her shoulder. She was glad to have her bag returned. She did not like the idea of him having her bag and she was glad that she had it back. Mia reached into her bag pulling out her figure skating book. A smile appeared across her lips to see her book back into her own hands. Hakaru would only see the back cover of the book which would not tell him much about what it was about. She held the book in her hands close to her not wanting to let it go. It was something special to her. Something her trainer had got her before she left the figure skating world. So she sort of cherished this book to some degree. Mia took a few steps towards Hakaru so she was standing in front of him again. She was only standing about a couple of feet away from Hakaru as she looked up at him.
"Well guess we have terms to obey by. I will promise not to bother you and I am allowed to sit with you," Mia said with a light smile. It was some head way. Not very much but some head way with him. It was better then nothing she figured. "We shall sit at our table in the library tomorrow?" Mia asked. Of course if he decided to just find another spot to hide to stay away from her Mia would come and find him. He had agreed after all. She was just going to make sure that he can not sneak away as easily. Sure she could be seen as being mean to Hakaru with how she was purposely pushing her way into his space. Everyone needed a friend. Just for some reason Hakaru did not seem to see that so Mia just simply had to show him that. However getting through to him she had to be a little more on the forceful side. It was the only way other wise he would have simply ignored her. Then what would she do if he just ignored her.

Hakaru made sure to be cautious, he knew that Mia was someone that he was sure he could not easily trust. When she made way for her own bag he just kept his hand tightened around his shoulder bag's strap and his eyes glued on her. He was surprised when she actually considered his terms of wanting her to to keep silent and not bother him and not to add that he claimed he could never be her friend. He just wasn't looking for anyone to be friends with, not even this purple haired girl, especially her, she was just being annoying and irritating him to no end. Now she was going to be sitting at his same table in the library, why was it that this day just had to turn out this way? Hakaru wanted more than anything just to take a hike and run as far away as he could from this girl, this school was big enough to shelter him from seeing her again, at least that is what he hoped, but then even the size of the school still seemed to make things really small and people often bumped into the same faces that had seen just a while ago someplace else. Hakaru knew the easy coincidence of seeing her again, not to add to mistake her for some other purple haired chick, he wouldn't want to go through his day trying to hide away from all purple haired girls just so he was safe from her irritation. He might as well agree to just letting her sit as his table, the least harm she could do was open up her books and read.
Hakaru eyes narrowed when she added that she will continue to call him as her 'friend' even if he claimed to not be hers. Great, now she was going to go around school saying that he was her library friend that she met when really he was just allowing her to share a table with him. He didn't want people getting the wrong idea that he was open to be irritated until befriend, which was true, irritating him could lead to a few things one being injured. Hakaru didn't usually take violence out on anyone, rarely had he ever had a fight with anyone in this school. One time he did though, this guy just wouldn't shut up and mind his own business, he just had to keep mouthing Hakaru badly and saying things that were foul. Hakaru couldn't take it anymore, so without wasting any time he punched the guy in the face and kneed him in his gut. The guy fell over in pain and Hakaru only went back to his reading, yet when the teacher came into the room to realize what happened they were both sent to the front office. Hakaru had to do extra credit assignments all around the school just to make up for the marks that he received from beating up that student. He didn't mind the extra work he had to do, it gave him something to do than being around a classroom full of kids, he was allowed to work alone in solitary just like he wanted.
Hakaru sighed in relief when she finally agreed to his terms as he did the same with hers but not willingly. He took a few steps forward heading toward the library again, he looked over his shoulder at her when she suggested they would sit at their table tomorrow. 'Their' table, now that wasn't something he liked the sound of. He wondered how long it would be before someone else came along and tried to join in on sitting at 'their' table. Hakaru didn't want this to turn into some everyday thing, he was only giving in this one time to this girl, as for anyone else who was going to try the same thing he was going to put his foot down a bit more. Mia was persistent though, most weren't as determined as she was to get close to him. "What ever you say..." Hakaru coughed and opened up the library door walking back inside, he wasn't going to stick around in the library he was just wanting to get back into the school building. He was going to head out through the main doors and back into the halls again, he figured lunch was about over by now. He wondered if Mia was following behind him, he figured she was since it was the only entrance from where they were outside. He could see the librarian staring at him again with angered disappointed eyes, he just ignored those eyes, eyes that he had been ignoring for years.

Hakaru was an interesting person. Mia could not pin point why he insisted on being so anti-social. She wanted to find this out but she knew she had to move slowly now. She did not want Hakaru to all of a sudden tell her she can not be near him in the library after she had just been able to gain that gesture. She wanted to become friends with Hakaru but he was making it quite clear that it was not going to happen. However Mia had claimed she was still going to see him as a friend of hers. Even if he was not going to see her as a friend she was still going to call him her friend. She was not going to tell everyone that he was her friend. She just wanted him to know that she saw him as her friend even if it was just one sided. She was hoping that one day maybe they would be able to speak to one another normally. It would be nice but as of right now she had agreed to being quiet while he did his drawings or what ever else he might be working on. Mia was determined to reach her goal of complete friendship with Hakaru. He was going to just have to learn how determined she can actually be. She figured she gets no where near her goals without a full effort. She had learned that over the years. If you really want something then you had to actually really work at it. Even if Hakaru said nothing but things to make her just go away she was not going to let anything get to her. She was still going to continue to stay by Hakaru no matter how rude he might be. There would come a day he would say more then just words to make her go away. She knew it was not coming right away but she somehow knew if she keeps on trying that maybe he will come around sometime.
Mia smiled when Hakaru sort have agreed to sitting with her at the table in the library during the lunch hour tomorrow. He had not exactly completely agreed but he did not straight out tell her no way either. It was some head way if it was not much. Mia smiled brightly towards Hakaru. She was going to be happy with any head way that she makes with Hakaru. Soon Hakaru had stepped back into the library through the door they had went through to get outside and make the exchanges that they had agreed to. Mia soon followed Hakaru on inside to the library. It was the only door leading inside so she had to follow him. For the most part people had all died down and moved on since the little display Mia and Hakaru had going on between one another had passed and it was no longer interesting for the other students to watch them anymore. That was funny about school. Something happens with any hint of interest then the other students gather around. Something that was something different then an ordinary day then the students flocked. Their display in the library was not the typical day in the library so it was not a surprise that the large group of students had came in to what was happening. That was the same for when an actual fight happened. Students would gather around to watch to see what is happening in till one of the teachers actually step in to separate the students. Teachers were trying to discourage the fight watching crowds by stating you would become in trouble yourself as well. But that does not work all the time. Students will still flock like a pack of scavenger birds to see what is happening. Then as the day moves on the rumors on what happened get spread around and changed from person to person in till it becomes that the actual story is completely lost among the rumors. That was a typical school reaction to something that happens out of the ordinary.
Mia picked up her pace once she was in the library so she was walking beside Hakaru. She quickly leaned up kissing Hakaru's cheek lightly before she smiled and quickly walked ahead of him. She spun around on her heels to face Hakaru after she was a few feet away from him. "I will see you tomorrow at our table as agreed. Don't try to hide I will come and find you," Mia told him. She gave him a kind smile as she waved while holding her book in her other hand at her side. She knew he was not going to be happy with her friendly gesture. She did tell him that she saw him as her friend so she was being friendly with him. That was just something she did with those who she considered her friend. Some might tell her she can be a bit too friendly but she did not care. It was part of the reason what makes her well her. "I will keep my part and be quiet during our lunches together," Mia assured him before she turned away from him. There were a couple of prying eyes on them but that was just to see if more was going to happen between them and when it didn't they just went back to what they were doing.
